I get the worst callouses on my heels and last time I had a pedicure they used something like a potato peeler with a razor blade to cut slices of the thick callouses off my feet. Then I saw the pedegg and said I had to try it. I am so embarassed when people look at my heels and they are so dry and cracked. This was great. Loved it from the start. Shavings stayed in the egg, feet are so smooth and actually pretty! Its nice not to feel the sharp cracked feet. I would recommend it to everyone!I bought one for each of my daughters and a few for friends. I am saving money from not getting pedicures anymore.

I have tried everything on my feet and nothing has worked like the Ped-egg. I LOVE this product!!! My feet have been very dry and course on the heel but this product has taken my feet to a whole new level. They are so soft and they don't scrape up against my blankets and stick. You really should try this product because it is AMAZING the difference it makes for dry feet. It takes about 15 minutes the first use and then just upkeep after that. Putting on lotion right after using helps.

The PedEgg is an amazing tool. Contrary to most comments, it does get the job done if proper technique is used. Users, NOTE; after shaving the heels of your feet, then follow it up with a light oil to soften the skin even more. Finally, buff your heels shortly thereafter for the ultimate smoothing effect. Ultimately, an egg has everything to do with it.
PS: From my personal opinion, the PedEgg can
be improved by:
1. creating the egg with a handle to
prevent the slippery effect.
2. "Press" button to open the egg more easily.

I can't justify spending money on a salon pedicure, so every once in awhile, I'll go that extra mile at home. However, in between those times, I just use a foot file in the shower and that keeps the dry skin on my heels off pretty well and it's fast.
So, I was really excited when I saw this advertised. I thought it would work just like a foot file, but faster and make them just as smooth. My experience however, was quite different. Following, I have the claims mentioned on this site and then my comments on those applicable to me.
I'll start with the pros:
"Gently removes callous, dry skin" - I don't have callouses, so I can't comment on that. It does in fact remove dry skin.
"Safe to the touch" and "So gentle, won't burst a balloon" - It seems you would have to really press hard to actually cut yourself to bleed, so it seems pretty gentle. That is about all I can say on the positive note.
Now my cons:
"Traps shavings - no mess" and "No mess - Collects shavings" - One thing I liked that was stated about the PedEgg, was that it caught the dry skin in the compartment. However, if you don't hold it a certain way, it falls back out the holes. So that claim is not exactly true.
"ergonomically designed to fit perfectly into the palm of your hand for easy and convenient use" - This is also partially true, in my opinion. It is designed to fit in your hand as stated; however as I stated before, you have to hold it a certain way so the skin doesn't fall back out. I found that by holding it in my palm as shown, the skin fell out on the floor.
"give your feet the incredible baby soft look and feel that everybody loves" - I found this not to be the case. After using the PedEgg, the bottoms of my feet did have less dry skin, but they were rough with little tears (I guess is what you would call it). So no, they were not baby soft at all.
In summary, I give the PedEgg 2 stars because it does help to remove dry skin and is less harsh than other options. However, it is my personal experience and opinion that this did NOT perform as advertised and some of the claims are not true. I think my regular foot file works much better. It cost a lot less and takes just seconds in the shower and my feet are smooth afterwards without any further attention.
The Ped Egg is reall amazing! It heals all of those rough spots on your foot that can be just plain old embarassing sometimes! Let me tell you, the Ped Egg is the way to go!!!!
i use this product twice weekly on my hard heels. it worked fine the first couple of times but now it does not seem to be removing anything. the cup is basically empty

This was easy to use and worked great.
I would recommend this to anyone. I wish I would have brought this a long time ago. I use it twice a week and my feet feels great! The Ped Egg makes a lot of sense and belive me you will get hook!! I brougth three just in case everyone starts to hear about how good it is.

I've used the PedEgg both dry & wet, and it's a decent product. I have used other things that work better though - just a plain old pumice stone in the shower works better & leaves your skin smoother than this product. One of the big things about this product is that it supposedly collects the shavings while you use it, but that's not really true. Some of the shavings get collected, IF you're using the PedEgg upside down. But that's not usually the position you use it in. Think about it - if you have your foot up on your opposite knee, how often would the product be upside down? Not often. I have also found that it's kind of hard to open the PedEgg to get to the shavings compartment. Overall, I'd say just get yourself a regular pumice stone & use it in the shower. It's cheaper, works better (leaves skin much smoother) and easier to use!

I live in Arizona and the weather plus the hard water had my feet so dry and cracked. I tried using a pumice stone every night in the shower but all that did was make them snag under the covers. I also put Vaseline on before bed and that only helped for the night but the next day they were back dry again. I saw commercial for the Ped Egg and was skeptical, but after trying everything else I decided to purchase it yesterday. Boy am I glad I did!! This thing is GREAT!! The people who are saying that it does not work must have some bad feet because the Ped Egg does work. My heels are no longer cracked and now I can rub my feet on my husband and not have to worry about scratching him. I can now wear my sandals without feeling embarrassed about my cracked heels!!
I'm on my feet all day and the ped egg is great for rough spots. It even smoothed down a corn on my pinky toe!

I have had calluses on the heals of my feet since I can remember. I have tried everything, including this pedegg and the only thing that seems to work is occasionally using a shaving device to shave them down.
The PedEgg is wonderful. A relative recommended that I buy one and I am glad that I purchased one. It really does work how they say it does.

i really like this better than the other products i've used
I got this for my b'day yesterday and responded with "you don't know how BADLY I needed one of these!" I tried it this morning and it worked wonders on my rough, cracked, heels! My husband said WOW! I hate shoes & socks and wear sandals every day that it's not snowing and I have to say my feet were a MESS. This egg is the best thing I've ever used--my heels are smooth after one use and I can't wait to continue to see the great results.
I have been battling dry, cracked, calloused heals for years. In a matter of a few minutes, my battle was won! My feet are as soft as a babies!

Ped Egg is the solution. I never thought I would have soft heels again. Now I'm not embarrased to show my feet. If messy, simply place feet on a paper towel.

I don't get pedicures, because most of the time I have fissures and open cracks & I'm afraid to get infections. I get very thick hard callouses - so bad, that the foot files didn't work and didn't make a difference - I was "shaving" off my callouses with men's disposable razors (not safe by the way). I was on the verge of buying a [$]foot rasp recommended by my Dr.. when I saw the "EGG".. I thought it looked like a foot rasp and bought it. The instruction don't say to use it in the shower, but when I tried it "dry" I didn't like the results.. so..into the shower I went..let the callouses get soft and WOW the PedEgg just ate up the callouses. No real effort needed..which is why you should be very very careful. The PedEgg if used agressively could leave you with sore and bloody mess.. so be careful. Also, the shaving don't stay in because they are so small - but this is a small price to pay for a product that will eat through my rough, thick callouses. IF they ever discontinue to this product.. I will definitely cry.

Doesn't work as well as I thought it would! You should be careful where you use this product because the collection container only catchs about half the shavings. This product could be sold for at most half the price that it's currently selling for; it's very cheaply made. The only thing that is really a plus is that it's easy to hold in your hand but it doesn't work any better than other foot files on the market. I would not recommend purchasing.

THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT!!! THE FIRST TIME I USED IT I WAS SO SATISFIED CAUSE I COULD ACTUALLY SEE THAT IT WAS GETTING RID OF ALL THE DEAD SKIN AND LET MY FEET FEELING SOFTER!!!I HAD NEVER EXPERIENCE SOMETHING LIKE THIS WITH THE OTHER THINGS I HAD USED BEFORE. JUST USE IT OBVIOUSLY IN A GOOD WAY, HOW IT TELLS U AND YOU'LL SEE RESULTS.
I was astonished how well the product worked. I've tried countless products in the past and the ped egg is by far the best. There's no comparison!!!
I work in construction and my feet are always rough. I live in Florida and it is embarassing taking my shoes off when I go to the beach. I just bought the Ped Egg and couldn't believe how smoothe my feet feel after just one use. I couldn't believe how much dead skin I got off. I would highly recommend it.

I use this product weekly. After the first use your pedicures are easier to manage. Its quick, easy and painless. The Ped Egg is small enough to fit in your purse. I have bought them for my mom, sisters and friends. It's also a good product for a man to use. I find it to be the perfect gift, especially for those who spend so much time in the salons or for those who have been embarassed to show their feet by wearing sandals due to crusty heels. This is the foot solution, better yet, it's the answer. There is nothing bad to say about this product.

I used to work at a very high end spa as a nail tech, so following a difficult twin pregnancy, when my feet started to grow thick callouses that actually cracked (ewww), and I was unable to fix them, I was mortified. Even nice pedicures only improved them until the lotion penetrated. I tried this product and was shocked that it actually smoothed out my nasty feet. The other great thing, it doesn't remove uneven layers like a callous shaver can. I hadn't worn sandals (or let me husband see my feet) in almost a year. Only caution - BE CAREFUL - once I saw that it was genuinely effective, I think I got a little too aggreesive with it - I actually experienced discomfort on my heels/soles the next day. Also, I think you need to have really serious callouses and/or deep cracks to really benefit. People with normal feet may just need to file or exfoliate.
This takes a long while to do and after a while it hurts

I had to scrape at my feet for awhile but i can tell they're better. I think they could be softer but i don't really have that much time!
My sister told me about this product and like always, I was very weary about it, but when I used it, I said that I would noe go out to get pedicures again. I loved it and plan on buying several to keep around.

I think this product is amazing. I was skeptical because I didn't think it would smooth my calloused feet, but the Pedegg works just like its advertised on TV.
The only thing I would say that is bad about this tool is that it does shed the filings, so use a trashcan!

OMG- this little product rocks!!! I mean let me tell you, I was skeptical at first when I saw the commercial, because some on the feet on there looked really bad....and there this little thing was making feet look brand new. Well folks, I am a living testimony.. It Works!!! I had rough calloused feet, that I have been neglecting for a couple of years (ever since I had surgery on one foot) due to a glass injury. The injured foot, started to build up a thick callous (over my heel) I would get embarassed whenever I would go to get pedicures...because I thought that the person doing my feet (was thinking terrible things in her head)about me, when she would go to file the dead skin off my heel. But anyway, I bought this product at my local Walgreens. Used it last night, my feet feel like silk, they are brand new again. No more cover snags, and I can cuddle with my sweetie (with out socks now).
This product is simply a dud. I saw it on television, read ALL the reviews, and decided to place my skepticism aside. I purchased it the other day and was EAGER to use it. I reside in a humid state, so I own several pairs of flip-flops and the way my feet look are EXTREMELY important. Although I barely had any dead skin on my heels, the little I had I wanted to get rid of. I used it and did not see any difference, so I continued to use it?SAME ISSUE. After I pulled the back off to clean it out, I did notice microcosms of shavings, but still no difference with my heels. I did try it again later that day and there was no change whatsoever. Perhaps you have to have heels that are callous compacted to see an improvement.

I have been married to the love of my life for six years now. I have always been afraid for him to touch my feet at nite with his feet. They was so hard and crusty that I had a pillow between our feet. Thanks to Ped Egg he can rub his feet all over my feet now.

I'm not one for writing reviews, but I felt this product deserved one. I live in Florida and run around in bare feet on tile over concrete floors. I have been suffering with dry, cracked heels for decades and have tried everything from lanolin infused socks to a "carrot peeler" (you know, the thing with the razor blade that shears off layers of skin). This product took off all that nasty skin the very first time I used it and my heels look wonderful for the first time in years!

FAST AND EASY CLEAN UP
I was a lil skeptical about buying this product because I wasn't sure if it worked wonders as the tv commercial showed it. So I came on this site and read the reviews which were good, and rushed to Walgreens to buy it. I am so happy I bought it. It really transformed my dry and cracked heels into baby feet..lol. The good thing is that u can also buy replacement blades. Get it! It works!!

This looks like it would really chew up your feet but it doesn't. I didn't soak them for a long time I used it on dry feet and it was fine. I would be very easy to go too far, though. Also, you should still put a towel down because it dumps a little out of the hole when you turn it around. I would use it on your soles not toes!

I really like my PedEgg. I have found that I like it better right after a shower,bath or after applying lotion to my feet. It seems more soothing and seems to work better for me. However,I didn't care for it on my dry feet without lotion or water (from after a shower or bath).
Using on completely dry feet seemed to irritate my feet a bit. But,it's GREAT after a shower,tub or lotion rubbed in really well.

I have tried many products to sustain my pedicure during visits. This is great! I have now taken my pedicures down to one per month and my feet look better than they ever. I am so pleased that I went to my local Walgreen's and bought all they had in stock to use for gifts. Mine was a gift...hope they are as happy as I have been.

I was of course very skeptical about how easy everyone was saying this was to use and see results. My poor poor feet are always in need of a pedicure and I hate spending all of that money on FEET!!! Now I am a "believer" and very happy to report I just did my first Pedeggicure and I am very pleased. Actually...I have already sent emails to friends about it. Now that speaks volumes! Great Product!!

I've seen these on t.v. and wanted one so badly. I bought a t.v. product once before and it took several months to get. They ran out of them, but yet, I found it in 'Good Ole [...], and even for less $, but it was too late to cancel my order. I'm buying all of my t.v. products from [...]from now on. Very easy to use.

I have pedicures on a regular basis, but I still have rough, dry and cracked skin on my heels. I saw the ad on tv and then saw the ped egg in the store before christmas. I bought one to see if I liked it before I bought them as gifts. I loved it and when I went back for more, they were all gone. I went to 6 different Walgreens in my area on Christmas Eve looking for them and they were all sold out. I'm so glad to see you have them back in stock.

Had some calluses on my foot and this product was great at filing it away. Afterwards the areas looked much better aesthetically. Highly recommend this product.
