This trap definitely works, as we have quickly caught mice with each trap used (usually w/in 24 hours). However, we set one under the kitchen sink right after catching a mouse with the same kind of trap the day before and didn't catch anything, but we hadn't seen any evidence of more mice, either. We decided to leave the baited trap out, just in case. I checked it periodically with no luck (and w/o re-baiting), until 2 months later when it was tripped right after we had begun to see mouse droppings again. So, if this trap can work with a tiny cube of 2 month old hard cheese, I have no questions as to its' effectiveness! Bonus: no mess, dispose of trap w/o ever seeing the mouse, safe for children, pets, and *most* non-target species (I'm guessing it would still trap other small rodents if they are attracted to the bait... try to use bait that is species-specific. For instance, when trying to catch mice, but not chipmunks, use cheese instead of peanuts).

I have had a mice problem for a month now. I saw this product in a drugstore and thought this must be perfect to trap and kill. I set up four of them. Two with peanut butter and two with cheese. Nothing happened. I have pasted up the holes I found in walls with spackle and still find a new hole. I resorted to the poison against the exterminator's suggestion. I hope the poison will work.

After quickly catching two mice, there was still another sneaking around the room when we were watching tv. That mouse completely ignored two traps with peanut butter in them. So I removed the peanut butter and filled it with chocolate frosting. One of traps I left closed and put the tinest dab of frosting on the closed door. The other trap I set open, in the hopes that the mouse would get frustrated with the closed trap enough to venture into the open trap. It worked!

I'm so glad that [...]carries these because they are difficult to find. Bait the trap (I also add another piece of tape to the bait area) and set them out. The trap closes when the mouse enters and I never have to see the mouse, which is good because I can't deal with seeing any mouse -- dead or alive. There is not another trap like this one and I never want to be without a supply of them in my house! The little mice have found a way in that I can't find, so these traps will always be kept on my shelves.

I just want to share with you a funny expirence I am having with a mouse. I can't catch him... I call him my little carpenter.About a week ago I was woked up around midnight by a noise that sounded like someone sawing. it sounded like it was at the back door. So I tiptoed to the kitchen to peek out the window, when I notice the noise was coming from under the sink. the trap I had under there had been tripped. But no mouse. I rebaited it several times but he kept on getting away. So I bought a package of the "NO VEIW NO TOUCH" traps. But the little rascal got me there too. He would flip that thing over somehow and eat through the tape get the bait, then dragged the trap all over underneath the sink. He has chewed the trap up. I don't know what I am going to do to get rid of him.He is starting to feel like one of the family.

They do not "go-off" when the mice go in. I have watched mice go in and come right out.

While they sit and wait the pressure from being 'set' eventually causes them to crack the plastic and fly apart.

Never had one go empty. I have to wonder if the people who say it didn't work remembered to bait it. That's the most effort you have to make with this trap.

Apparantly our mice like super chunk peanut butter. We set out 2 traps. The next morning had caught a mouse. Second morning caught another. Hard to tell if there's really one in there, seems like it would feel heavier, but my husband peeked inside and saw a mouse.

I could not catch any mice with the regular snap trap. I had blood in my drawers a couple times but no mice and no peanut butter left. I also felt bad when I saw them dead or suffering on a glue trap; usually just their fur was left on my glue traps as well.. This trap is great. East to set and dispose of. I used all 4 of them within a week! I have just had a really hard time finding them. [...]

We used baited standard mouse traps for 2 weeks with no results. We were simply feeding our pets! The first night with this trap we snagged 1 mouse and the next morning a second one. Very clean and easy to follow directions and you do not see them at all. Will continue to use.
