We live in the country, surrounded by cotton fields so mice are a constant problem year-round. As a woman, I wouldn't touch the "other" traps because they were nasty and hard to empty. The Better Mouse Trap stays clean on the outside after repeated catches and is so easy to empty. If you can open a clothes pin......you can use the Better Mouse Trap. It is so sensative, it even catches the young mice just out of the nest.
The only problem I have found is finding them. Retailers are either out or don't carry them, so I get them online. Well worth EVERY PENNY of their purchase price in my opinion!
We have sent them to family all over the country and everyone loves them, especially "the girls".

This thing is the best mouse trap I've ever seen! The best thing about it is the price, and, get this, I don't think even a little kid could get really hurt with it. It might pinch them, but it sure can't hurt them like other traps could. And, my goodness, it works great.

I have used three variations of this trap style. The brand with the red V's trigger mechanism wore out after a very few mice. The black brand was good, but harder to set and not nearly as sensitive. This is by far the best for ease of baiting, setting, and sensitivity. And, despite its appearance of low strength, it never fails to be lethal.

I have been unsuccessful in trying four different kinds of traps previously and was at the brink of despair. "The Better Mousetrap" does what it says----amazing! Caught seven mice in two days using four traps. Have already recommended the traps to two friends who have purchased them.

This product is very easy to use. You really need to make sure the bait is back far enough so the mouse climbs all the way in. I have caught six mice in 10 days, I still don't know how they are getting in but they are confined to one room with this trap. I have only had one mouse get his arm caught in the trap and was still alive when I found him, I tried to trap him in a bag before I released the trap but he got away only to be caught upon his second return to the trap. I love not having to touch the dead mouse. The old traps I would just throw away so I didn't have to pull that metal release. I love this product, I can use the same bait over and over again. And with it being plastic you could even wash the trap and reuse it. Very easy to use, definitely a better mouse trap, smarter than a mouse trap.

First time it caught one, I came home to find the trap clear across the room with the mouse alive and caught by the foot only. For the next 3 days, the traps were snapped and the bait was gone, but there was no mouse. I would not recommend this product.

We have had great results with these traps in our hog building. We put other brands on either side of it, they did not work, but the BETTER MOUSE TRAP always caught the mice. Our rodent numbers have been reduced substantially

We use these as a deterent to keep the cats from jumping up on the counter. It's loud snapping is just enough to scare the cats but should they get "caught", it causes no harm whatsoever to their paws! Works like a charm.
