This product will not control carpenter, pharaoh, harvester or Red Imported Fire Ants. Advanced liquid bait technology: Contains both food & water. Ants find the bait fast, so they die fast. How it works: Ants enter the home in search of water and are most often found near water sources (ie: kitchen and bathroom). This is because an ant can live for a long time without food, but cannot survive even one day without water. After years...and I mean years...of a personal war with ants in my house, I found a solution. These things work better than any of the other ant baits, goup, sprays, etc.. out there. I've probably tried a dozen of others. I highly recommend these for the typical invading sugar ants.

I put out all four ant baits. The ants did indeed disappear in 24 hours. However, they returned with a vengeance in a few days. I tried placing the baits right where the ants were and where I believe they were coming from. I did not see any at all in the bait liquid. They continue to swarm across my kitchen counters and sink. I have now used boric acid ant killer and hope that I will see a change in the next day or two.[...]
