You can replace the rings with the rings they sell for holding index cards together. Wont be as flexible, but the same idea and you wont have to throw it out. I'm pretty sure I've seen them sold in the office supplies section on their own.

i had the same one for 2 middle school years, i don't know how you people are breaking the rings, but mine held up through being thrown around all day every day.

This is a great binder. the only bad thing about it is the rings will break. A good idea for when a ring breaks is to take it off the binder and just use it as a ring clip to hold papers. Now i only use 3 rings for a notebook. I had two binders my dog ate two of the rings on one of them and the top ring of my other just broke. I reccomend getting this binder.

I absolutely loved this binder. And then today two of the three rings broke. I know this product brags on how flexible the rings are and how you can mold them into different figures and all that, but did Mead mention how EASY they were to break? I am a freshman in Highschool, mild work. I guess it had slight abuse being thrown into my backpack so often, but I'm sure more than half the customers that are considering buying this product is a student. I also had a lot of papers in the binder but any other 1 ring binder could hold. Ive had this binder for about 4 months.

This product was great for me except last week, it broke.
I know all in here rated it great and I would have except the rings in mine, broke.
I thought this was the best binder ever. So flexible, so useful, I had notes from almost all my classes there, it could hold a lot of paper, etc. I loved it.
But then I noticed the top ring (from the back), the plastic was starting to give, and if I wanted to and pulled it, it could come off.
I said, well, its just the top one, it still works.
But now the first two rings came off completely (because of everyday use, do not think I abused this product); and the third ring is about to fall of, so, now it's pretty useless.
Maybe it was just my binder, it was defective or something but... Five star is about building strong to last long and this didnt even last the full semester.
