Non-slip silicone grip. Higher heat protection. Flame retardant. Made with Kevlar & Nomex by DuPont. For left or right hand. Withstands extreme heat up to 540 degrees F. The Ove Glove is great for the kitchen, the barbeque and handling other hot surfaces. The Ove Glove dramatically extends the time you can handle a hot object in your hands. The tough exterior layer of the glove (made with Nomex and Kevlar) forms a thermal isolation barrier slowing the temperature increase in the soft, doublekinit cotton interior of the glove. When exposed to an open flame, the outer layer of the glove does not catch fire and does not melt. UL Listed. Made in South Korea.

I bought 'Ove Glove' for the wood stove used to heat the house. It allows more time to arrange the wood appropriately and to place the logs in gently without sparks flying everywhere and burning yourself.

This is one of the most useful innovations in cooking ever. The Ove Glove is the ONLY hot pad you will use. Bought one, loved it, bought another. Like the other reviewer, I have been giving these as gifts ever since. No one should be without this product. Only downside (and it's minor) is that it does not completely repel liquids. It takes time, but hot liquid can soak into the glove. You'll have plenty of time to safely put down the pot/pan/dish before it becomes too painful but it can happen.
