I can't sew at all, but with Tear Mender I have hemmed pants up, curtains and even turned long sleeves into short sleeves in a breeze. I have also washed the fabrics over and over without it coming apart.

Comments about Val-A Chicago Incorporated Tear Mender Fabric & Leather Repair Adhesive:

I use this on my husband's work pants, he used to wear out one place on a pair of jeans every week due to the friction of bricks and other things he carries. Now I coat the inside and outside of the fabric before it begins to wear thin. It works like a latex barrier. It has of this time prevented wear through for three weeks.
