Days of no power in my area of Houston, Texas and I have been using the same 8 candles to light my bathroom and living room/dining room areas. The 2 in my small bathroom give out just enough light at night so that you can see where you're going and... uh.. whatever you have to do (LOL). And the price is awesome. Having these really has helped to cut down on buying expensive batteries.

These little battery operated tea lights are quite handy & they flicker nicely. I hate to leave a room with a candle burning, especially with my 2 cats running around. I feel much more secure knowing that these won't catch fire if knocked over. They did last about 40 hrs as advertised (i didn't time them but that seems about right) so it's not a bad deal, 6 for [$]. Just don't forget to turn them off at night or you'll waste the battery.

There is no melting wax! The last I checked, Roman Candles were illegal, so this is the way to light the darkness without eliciting fireworks!
