Daniel Jorndt becomes the first person not named Walgreen in the position-after 98 years. 2006-Walgreens, with $47.4 billion in sales, celebrates 32 consecutive years of record results. Our more than 5,600 stores in 48 states and Puerto Rico serve 4.7 million customers daily. Walgreens fleet on the move Walgreens burns up the miles as our trucks travel a distance equal to 13 times around the globe each day. We have 561 tractors and 1,556 trailers. Our 1,093 drivers drive 70.9 million miles annually. They deliver 246.1 million cases of goods weighing 3.74 billion pounds to our stores in a year. That's 144,700 truckloads. Our long-haul runs are set up like a 21st Century Pony Express: A driver covers about 250 miles and meets a driver coming from the opposite direction. When I first saw it on the web page, I had to buy one. I liked it so much, I had sent for a couple more. As for the the truck, I put it on the book shelf, for every one to see. It's neat, and handcrafted well. There are no things wrong about it. I even brought one To California, to give as a gift.

The title says it all. This really is Walgreens at its finest. The Engine has absolutely amazing detail, painted blue just like the real thing. I would know, I drive a Walgreens truck every day. Sometimes, I like to use the truck and trace it along my map just to see where I am in the good ol' US of A. And in case things get rough on the road, you get two replacement mirrors just in case.... Everything is exactly to scale and looks exactly like the real thing. Sometimes, I almost want to fill up toy with gas too. But this is worth every single one of the[$] I paid for this. You have to order this now, its the best truck I've ever had,

OMG!!
I saw this little truck and HAD to have it. Walgreens is just TOPS! I try to ignore the fact that a real Walgreens truck cut me off once, almost resulting in my imminent death...I just look at this little replica now and know it will never beat me!

I would recommend this to anyone. I get most of it's use in the bathroom...you know, to pass the time. (hehe).

This is a nice, detailed collectible that looks pretty much like the real thing. The truck does have parts that seem pretty delicate but should be fine just sitting on a shelf. There is also a set of replacement side mirrors - I guess in case the ones on the sides of the truck break off. But otherwise, I am very happy with the truck.
