You know it's got to be good when your kids fight over who gets to use it. We just rented a home and so I had to be careful of the walls. The holes are bigger than I thought they would be but, I found I only needed one hook to do the job that would have needed more than one nail. It was so easy that I didn't have to wait for my husband to help.

I used these hooks all throughout my apartment for pictures and wall hangings. To me, they are great. They will always be my first choice when wanting to hang a mirror or picture, etc. The only problem I had was when the space behind the wall was too shallow, or when the area I wanted to use them for was in front of a stud. In both of these situations, I could not get the hooks to work. Otherwise, they are great.

I was very, very sceptical about using the product. I saw the commercial and it stated the product left only a pin sized hole, the hole is bigger than a pin size, but not so much to damage the walls. I did not want to damage the walls in my new home. I was pleased with the result. I have already recommended the product to someone to use.

This product really works
By tjVerified Purchaser from Stansbury Park, UT on 10/29/2007
Pros:
Hanging Capacity, Inconspicuous, Secure Base, Strong Materials
Cons:
Bends Under Weight, Items Slip Off
Best Uses:
Heavy picture mirror
Describe Yourself:

Primary use:

Bottom Line:

I used these to hang a heavy picture mirror, it seems to be holding fine. I wanted to hang a wall mount coat rack, but the hook that comes out of the wall isn't quite long enough for this particular rack. I am afraid to hang coats on it, that it might fall off the wall.

After waiting to hang some portraits and mirrors in my new home, I decided to try the Hercules Hook. Hands down I am completely satisfied. No damage to walls and it really supports the weight that it says. I used two hooks to distribute the weight evenly. Wow, i'm usually really skeptical about these types of products but this one works.

The uses are limitless. I even stuck one up in the ceiling over my tub/shower to hang my lufa and washcloth. Is holding up a large round mirror over my vanity. In my office it is in use with framed art and wall art. In the kitchen they are holding my hotpads and a calander as well as a catch all. In the laundry room it is holding a small trash can that I use when I empty the dryer lint filter as well as the lint brush I use to clean the lint trap. Just use your immagination!!!

AWESOME, NO MORE HAMMERS
By Geri from Phoenix, AZ on 7/31/2007

Best Uses:
Bathroom, Bedroom, Hats
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical
Primary use:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I was skeptical about these at first, thinking there is no way I can push something through a wall. I was wrong. I just love the fact that I no longer need a hammer and redo something. You just slip it in, if it's not in the correct place, pull it out and redo. It doesn't leave big holes either unless you keep having to redo everything, then you didnt' measure right. Just love it

[...] I have actually only used one of the hooks. Easy to use. I hung a mirror in my bathroom weighing 25lbs. about 3 weeks ago-still working great. I would recommend this product for any that doesn't want to lug around a hammer and nails. Another plus is that it only leaves a small hole.

"Hooked" by the Ease
By dpbanksVerified Reviewer from Monticello AR on 2/25/2007
Pros:
Easy to Use, Inconspicuous, Secure Base, Strong Materials
Cons:
Hard to adjust
Best Uses:
By The Front Door, Coats, In The Bedroom, Keys, Pictures, Scarves, Towels, Wall Decorations
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My agency just moved into a renovated building, and we wanted to use something that would not leave huge holes in the walls. I ordered the Hercules Hooks for us to use. They were very easy to use and did only leave a small space.

In an area where the inner wall is deep enough, the hooks are wonderful. However, if the space is not very deep, the hooks are hard to bend further. It can be done. It would be great if the hooks came in two sizes.

Despite that one problem, we all love the hooks. They work very well. I plan on buying some for my personal use.

No Hammer, ONE Hand-THIS REALLY WORKS!!
By MomToTheWeeThreeVerified Reviewer from Tulsa, OK on 2/14/2007
Pros:
Easier On Walls ThanNAILS, Hanging Capacity, Inconspicuous, Lives Up To The Hype, No Hammer Needed, Secure Base, SIMPLE to use, Stands Up To The Weight, Strong Materials
Cons:
Very Sharp Tip Careful
Best Uses:
Hanging Heavy Pictures, Hanging Heavy Shelves, Hangs almost ANYTHING, Use instead of NAILS
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought these being quite a skeptic. I had recieved a very large collage picture frame, and it was very heavy. My pack included a laser level bonus... I didn't have to buy a picture hanging kit, didn't have to get out the hammer, the laser kept my frame straight and these little wonders went in like a hot knife through butter into my walls. Simple to use, and I am surprised to see that it holds BETTER than nails. Doesn't damage the walls like nails do, leaves a very small hole and since the weight is displaced behind the sheetrock, it doesn't damage the wall by creating a large hole like a striped out nail. I will never use a hammer and nails again!!!
