The electricity in my house went out for a couple days because of thunderstorms, and we pulled out this flashlight. We wound it for at most a minute, and the light lasted for hours. We left it on the entire night, and we had to turn it off when we woke up in the morning. The light was brighter than that of regular, battery-operated flashlights, which are more yellowish. We are impressed with this flashlight, and it will continue to be our go-to over the regular flashlights.

Finally, a self-charging flashlight that actually DOES recharge! (Believe me, I’ve tried them ALL, and THIS one works!) Thirty seconds of cranking produces about twenty minutes of useable light. Need some more? Just crank it again. Solidly built, feels good in the hand, well worth the price. Recommended!

Try this out in the store before purchasing. It took forever to wind -only to receive a "glimmer" of light. For the [$] just donate your money to the Salvation Army. Holidays are coming.. the money will be put to much better use. The old adage rings true... "you get what you pay for".

This is the cooliest flash lisght I have ever seen, Wonderful with Brightness and 1 light to 3 lights switch option is really excellant idea. Little bit of wrist excersie will glow your home with Nice LED Bright light. I got 3 so far , Iwould like to give away as gifts to my friends.

This is the greatest flashlight since sliced bread and I remember unsliced bread. There's no battery and the LED's won't ever burn out. It's not a long range light, rather, it is for short range use and in house use. But this flashlight winds up very easily and provides you with life saving light. There are no batteries to replace...EVER!!! Just wind for 10 seconds and light your way. God sent us a little miracle that fits in our hands!!!!
