This product will beep unpredictably to loud noises (barking of a dog, TV, etc.) but will not beep at all when you whistle. Not even if you hold it up to your face. I had multiple people try it with different whistles and no one was able to trigger it to work. I had to return it.

I bought this for my Dad as a gag gift for Father's Day. He liked it so much, I had to buy another one for my Mother!

This product doesn't work. It is too sensitive to noise. It beeps about every two minutes when any noise is over a certain frequency. Not good!!!

OK, I admit it I knew this item wasn't going to work. [...] But here is the real problem. It does work. When I say that I mean the alarm goes off (never when you want it to). It goes off in your pocket as you are walking to work. It goes off when you are talking on the phone. It goes off, at completely random times.

But it doesn't go off when you whistle. I did get it to go off when I whistled while it was in my hand 10 inches from my face. But if it was in the cushions of a couch I doubt it would ever go off. Unless the couch decided to start walking to work.
