Poor taste, & not very filling. Better choices are Special K High Protein bars (10g protein, 180 cal) or South Beach High-Protein bars (15 g protein, 180 cal) available at Walgreens and other retail pharmacies.

I eat this protein bar as a snack and when I have a taste for chocolate. It tastes great and doesn't leave an after taste. It's nutritionist and helps me meet my daily protein goal. It's nice to be able to eat something that tastes good. I am a customer 4 life!

AS A BARIATRIC PATIENT, I WAS INTRODUCED TO OPTISORCE'S CHEWABLE VITAMINS (BY THE WAY,ALSO A GREAT PRODUCT). I HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF DAILY PROTEIN AND I DON'T WANT TO LOOSE MY HAIR AGAIN. I FOUND THESE BARS A BIG HELP AS A PROTEIN SUPPLEMENT; ESPECIALLY ONE THAT TASTES GOOD,HAS A THIRD THE CALORIES OF MOST PROTEIN BARS, AND THE LIMITED AMOUNT OF CARBS ALLOTED. THEN, THERE'S THAT CHEWY TEXTURE THAT IF YOU CLOSED YOUR EYES, YOU WOULD BELIEVE YOU WERE ENJOYING THE CARMEL/NUGGET CENTER OF THAT FORBIDDEN CANDY BAR.
I'M IMPRESSED THAT THIS LITTLE BAR PACKS SUCH A BIG PUNCH WITH FLAVOR TO MATCH. HOPE THEY MAKE ANOTHER FLAVOR OR TWO.

I have tried many different bars so when my friend suggested this one. I really didn't wanna try it but I am So glad that I did. These bars are so good. I have another friend who puts some in her freezer and they are great that way too. They have a very nice taste. They are like a brownie, candy bar, fudge round all in one and they are good for you! I would recommend these to anyone and someone who has had a weight loss surgery.

It has been almost 5 years since my surgery and I have kept my weight loss within 5 lbs. These vitamins are wonderful and have kept my iron, B12, calcium, etc., all at perfect levels. I highly recommend them. In fact, since there are 4, I space them out through the day as a kind of "treat" since they taste so good

It is such a convenient source of protein. For the past two years, since my gastric bypass surgery (weight loss/bariatric surgery), I eat one bar every morning, along with a cup of low fat yogurt for a quick, nutritious breakfast at the office. In addition, I keep a few in my purse in case I need a good source of protein on-the-go.
