I can't say enough about this home test. How can you put a price tag on peace of mind and near instant results. Easy to use, very discrete, and reasonably priced. I mailed my sample at 1:15pm on Tuesday and had my NEGATIVE result at 5:50pm(MNT) the following day. Please take my advice, speaking as someone who just went through what you are experiencing. Avoid web based medical sites, attempting to self diagnose yourself and inundating yourself with signs and symptoms. Given enough time, you can convince yourself you have 7 different diseases. I know... I did. Instead, research the statistic based web sites such as the Center for Disease Control. It may ease your mind to know that a January 2008 study showed that only about 1 half of 1% of US adults under 50 have HIV. And further, CDC estimates just over 1 million americans are infected with HIV. There is an estimated 301,139,947 people living in the United States. Do the math. If you generously divide that number by the 50 states you get 6,022,798.94. So the odds are in your favor. Good for you for considering testing for HIV. Good for you for protecting yourself and the people you love. I did not add these statistics to make you beleive you don't need regular testing. You do. Everyone does. I only want to ease your stress during this difficult time. Thank you to the inventer of this test. I know what I went through, mentally, in just over 24 hours while waiting for my result. I can't imagine waiting the 2-3 weeks that most testing centers average. Pray,, the lord will be with you. You owe this to yourself.
This product was great! It was fast and pretty much anonymous except for the fact I had to ask for it at the pharmacy counter which I felt very uncomfrotable doing. Other than that it was great. I was way too nervous to listen to the results all by myself, but I also didn't want anyone to know I was getting tested. When I called in to get my results I specifically asked to speak with a counselor first. I told them how scared I was about receiving my results and they calmed me down and helped me go through a positive and negative senario. It really helped to talk to someone. Thank God, Jesus, Mary and the angels I am NEGATIVE, and will never put myself at risk again. Please be safe and if you are unsure of your status take this test!!
This test was great!! It is definitely worth it, however it is not completely anonymous. You have to ask for it at the pharmacy counter if you plan on buying it in the store. I felt very uncomfortable doing this. Anyway, I was soooooo nervous to get my test results. I didn't even call back the next day because I was too scared. I didn't want to be alone but I also didn't want anyone to know I was being tested. I finally got the guts up to call in. Instead of going straight to the recording, I specifically asked to speak to a counselor. I explained my fears and they helped to calm me down. They talked to me about a positive and negative senario. It helped a lot. Thank God, Jesus, Mary and the angels I am NEGATIVE, and will never put myself at risk again. Please be safe and if you are uncertain of your status use this test.
I probably read throught these reviews about 10 times it made me feel better because these people were feeling the same way I was. It wasn't bad buying or taking the test, the worse part like everyone says is waiting and calling.I did like everyone else read all the stuff online and that definately gave me awake up call but it was way to late for that. I've decided I already did the damage now I have to face the consequences. I knew I had HIV. I was just preparing myself to tell everyone. I was sick after being with a few people so that was a definate that I was. I cried,I prayed, I wasnt gonna call.I didnt wanna know anymore. Then finally I got the nerve up to call and the kept saying my results aren't in "O great that means the had to do for sure tests" then I called this morning...they sent me to a counsler. Then there it was, they were gonna tell me that I was postive. My heart was beating sooo fast. what did they say? "Negative"... Right there I said thank you and hung up.. I called again to make sure then I am getting an email. I might be crazy but I knew I had it. Yes ur mind does play tricks on you. I recommend this to everyone. Just take my advise dont get soo worked up. Now i probably should get lung cancer tests from all the cigarettes I smoked the past few days. Also piece of advise is to tell a few people and have someone with you for the call.....

I'd been fairly careful but had a few encounters that I wondered about. I decided to get tested just in case. Easy to use and very quick. Highly recommended. Oh, and... negative!
the only thing i didnt like was having to buy this in public. i went right when the store opened so no one would see me. i didnt want to order it online because i know all of the local ups drivers & was afraid they may open to see what it was before they delivered it. small town, nosey people! all you do is put a few drops of blood on a small paper with your finger, wait 30 minutes for it to dry, put your sample in a package provided, drop the sample off to a fed ex drop off box where no one knows what it is, and the next day you get your results over the phone through an automated machine. i dropped mine off at the fed ex box around 9am on a thursday & got my results friday night around 7:30. i was so nervous about having an hiv test done and knowing some places make you wait two weeks i went and bought this. i was sick to my stomach all day waiting on my results , i couldnt imagine waiting two weeks. do yourself a favor and buy this for peace of mind. oh, by the way...mine was NEGATIVE!! and after you get your results, don't ever do what you did in the past to make you have to take this test again. learn from your past! i know i have.
I have been suffering for years, In the back of my mind I was always worried that i might have been infected with hiv due to some stupid mistakes i committed abroad. my girlfriend told me last week that she is pregnant so i knew right away i had to step up and get tested not just for my peace of mind and health but for my gf's and the baby's health. this is a wonderful product. very fast results and discreet. I manned up, retrieved my results today and guess what? NEGATIVE. Thank you Lord! I will pray for all of you currently worried about knowing your status. God bless you all!
I must say, I went for years with my conscious nagging at me...I was afraid to find out my status...... then finally I read and even talked to people with HIV and learned that HIV is no longer a death sentence.....I was still afraid of getting tested because if the results were + then it would go on my public health record! Which is why I choose this product. It was the best thing for me...I brought it sunday evening.... did the test Monday morning and shipped it off. Got home Tuesday evening.... stomached myself for the result either way it went.......NEGATIVE!!!! OMG, what relief in knowing and what ease of the mind. Not knowing and the mind will play tricks on you and then you question every itch, and sneeze!

Extremely well written and detail instructions. Fast results. Results are released at 6:45pm central time. Don't waste time to call earlier. I dropped the package at a FedEx collection box in the morning. It was delivered at 8:30am the next day (remember to write down the fedex tracking number). Results were available the same day the lab received the sample. I had no problems with drawing enough blood to fill the circle. Make sure you puncture your finger slightly on the side, where the skin is softer. It took me a while to perform the procedure, but it was because of nerves and not fear of pain. Pain is almost non-existent. Highly recommend this product even if you have a slightest suspicion that something might be wrong. It is so worth the peace of mind and quick.

I purchased the testing kit several weeks ago and wanted to list a review. I had never been tested for HIV but after finding out about a loved one who had it, I became increasingly scared and paranoid that I had it as well, as looking back I had classic "mono/flu" like symptoms a couple of years ago. With this horrible disease hitting so close to home, I knew I needed to do this for myself. I read most all of these reviews before purchasing the kit but don't recall having read a couple of different things that would have put my mind at ease, which is the purpose of my review. I purchased this kit [...] called ahead to insure they had the product and then picked it up in drive-thru with my dark sunglasses on. Its amazing that its 2008 and these types of tests aren't more easily available (quicker and cheaper)! If they can make a pregnancy test that a woman can pee on a stick and find out if she has another person growing inside her (in 20-30 minutes I might add), and at a super high degree of accuracy, why the hell can't we get a test that can tell us if we have a serious disease?? But I digress. OK folks.. Rule # 1. Drink plenty of water before unpackaging the material, so you will have good blood flow. This system comes with 2 lancets. You have to completely fill a circle (about the size of a penny) that is drawn on the test paper. Doesn't seem like much, but surprisingly I had to use both lancets. So, make sure to drink plenty of water. When using the 2nd lancet I stuck my finger more on the side, and this was much more successfull.. Also, since I had never mailed anything using [...] before, I wasn't aware of certain "cutoff" times in my area and the thought actually had not crossed my mind while reading the directions and following the steps of the test. However, I feel this should be listed in direction # 1. I bought this kit thinking I would get results the next day.. In my case, I didn't get to the drop box in time and ended up waiting 48 hours before getting my results. The wait was almost unbearable. I called the 800# given for the testing location, because by the time I found out that there were no[..]locations in my area that were still making pickups, I had already given my blood sample and closed up the packaging. I wasn't able to reach anyone at the 800# the first night, as it was approximately 7-8 p.m by this time. This was a little frustrating. They should offer 24/7 support for this. Anyway, I did drop the package in the [..] box that night anyway. My concern was that the blood sample would be too old and that I wouldn't get an accurate reading, because all over the instructions are these words in large bold letters: "You must ship the package the day you take the blood sample". Convinced my sample would be destroyed when it arrived at the testing center and that I had just wasted my money, I told the operator of my situation and she assured me everything would be fine and that they basically tell you this in the instructions so that you don't have people take the test and leave it laying around for a month before mailing it off. The sample you provide is good for 10 days from the time given. I wouldn't recommend anyone waiting this long, but don't freak out like I did if you miss the [..] drop time. But to make sure you take advantage of next day results, call your local [..] location first for drop cut off times in your area, before taking your test. If you already missed it for the day, I'd recommend waiting until the next day before taking the test. I know some reviewers stated they got their results earlier than the 6:15 deadline, but I did not. I was at work this day and would sneak away each hour or so and dial the # with my access code. Each time the automated voice came on and started going thru the motions, I was a nervous wreck. As the day wore on, my increasing paranoia really kicked in and I couldn't help but think, "i bet they give the bad news for the people that test positive at the 6:15 p.m. deadline". After the 3rd or 4th time of calling with no results, I just couldn't put myself thru it again, while alone. So, I waited until I got home with my partner before calling again. I feel it is important to have someone with you at the time you get your results. At the 6:15 deadline, I picked up the phone one last time, with hands shaking to the point I could barely dial, praying the entire time that my results were in and that the news was good... Thank God my results were negative. After holding my partner and crying for about 10 mins, I had to hear it again. I'm not much for crying but it was such a sense of relief. You can listen to your results 3 seperate times and also have the option to have the results mailed to you.. Overall, this is a great test and a good anonymous service. Please read the directions thoroughly before getting started.. Recommendations: Wish they had longer hours of customer service (think they close at 7pm) and most of all, wish the instructions mentioned to check with [...] first, for drop off times and this info be listed in step #1. Everything else delivered just as promised. Everyone Please please please be safe when having sex. It is so incredibly important.
If you ever want to get tested anonymously for HIV and get it out of your mind, this is the best product. and since its FDA approved, you can be assured of the results.
I took the test, the results came in very fast, was negative and feel much better now.
I would recommend this product for anyone who wants to be HIV tested.
Even, if you had made a mistake, have faith in GOD and pray, it definitely helps...
I have to say that i was extremely nervous about finding out my status. i hadn't taken a test in a while and just starting a new relationship we decided to get tested and be responsible. I wont lie i drove myself crazy with worry because i have been safe most of the time but most of the time is not good enough. I called the doctor for an appointment and his first availability was in 2 weeks. What torture! So I found Homeaccess and it was great! I took the test and sent it off and got the result in 24hrs. Believe me when i tell you that i know its scary and nerve racking wondering what your status is. But its even scarier not knowing. Just find out for yourself and those you love. If you are at all worried about ur HIV status you HAVE to get this product. I stupidly had unprotected[...] sex with my boyfriend... I was so worried I couldn't sleep for a week. My bf was positive he was HIV-. But my mind was just not settled. The fact my parents would have KILLED me if they knew I may have HIV meant no doctor testing, also I didn't want a positive result on my health record right away.I bought this after reading its the ONLY FDA approved test. I decided to know my status after watching an add on TV. The test was really easy and results are know in about two days. Those two days were the slowest days of my life. I convinced myself that I was positive, I even began to associate symptoms I was having to HIV. Thankfully, my HIV status is negative. I will do everything in my power to keep it that way. Take every precaution you can to stay healthy, life is short. To those who are positive, there is hope. Medical breakthroughs are happening everyday!!! Take Care!!

Searching the Net after experiencing a number of suspect symptoms, I nearly drove myself crazy with worry. I wanted an anonymous test, but I could not believe how hard it is to find one in my area. This test is both easy and completely anonymous, and the best part is that you receive your results by 6:45pm CST the next day. I sent mine in, and after an agonizing (but admittedly short) wait, I got my result- negative (thank god!). If you are in any way doubtful of your status, I completely recommend getting this kit. The whole process takes a few minutes (plus 30 mins to dry before mailing). This is a great product and quick results compartive to your doctor, and no one ever has to know. I had myself convinced I was positive after making a couple stupid decisions in foreign lands and was even noticing symptoms, all ended up being due to Extreme Anxiety disorders because of this. Sent in on a Sunday morning, had results Tuesday evening. NEGATIVE. It was amazing how fast the symptoms went away once hearing Negative read. Don't let you head get the best of you, take this test if you are worried and want a Fast, Reliable and Confidential answer.

I have safe sex most of the time. But "most of the time" does not mean totally safe. So 3 months after the encounter in question I got tested. Results were available the next day. You can retrieve your results 3 times if you are negative and boy, I did play the results message for 3 times to hear the word negative once again(I had been very nervous before that). Worth the peace of mind! Everybody please, please be safe. Life is precious!

This test was worth the cost for the peace of mind. You have to wait for appointments with a doctor and also go back to get the results. With this test, you can buy it anytime (since Walgreen's is open 24 hrs) and send it out the next or same day. As promised, I got my results within 24 hours; I mailed it Monday evening and they were available by 6:30pm(cen) on Tuesday. It's fast, easy, and confidential. Best part was that I was able to go buy it the second I felt ready to take the test.
This test is a GREAT option to traditional HIV testing, it's cheaper than some doctor's offices and faster. I recommend everyone use it, it's so cheap for the certainty of knowing. I am so glad this product is available!

For years I hemmed and hawed over what my HIV status was. I was pretty sure that I didn't have it, but I had a nagging feeling that I should check anyway. Luckily for me the test was negative!
The test itself really isn't that hard to do. There are alot of instructions, so make sure that you read them all carefully. I bought the test at my local Walgreen's. The pharmacy tech who sold it to me was very considerate...he completed my transaction very quickly and even double bagged my test so that no one would see it when I walked out of the store.
I sent in test on a Wednesday night and got my results back on Thursday night. I couldn't believe it was that fast.
The bottom line is that I wish I would have just done this years ago. I was too scared to find out and really I had nothing to worry about all those years! Everyone should know their status. If you're negative, you can live knowing that you're okay and if you're positive you can take the necessary steps in keeping yourself healthy. HIV isn't a death sentence anymore, but we should all do our part to know our status..and the Home Access test is a great way to start!
Easy to use with quick results.
The test itself has a lot of steps, but the directions are very clear and they do have a number you can call if you have trouble figuring it out.
It was also very fast. I sent out the prepaid package yesterday and got my results today (negative...thank you Jesus!) What I really like about this company is that they seem to really care about the people that are buying their product. They have support available if you're having trouble with the test and they have counselors available to discuss results...even if you test negative!
After agonizing about my status, I decided to be brave and get tested. I couldn't find the test at any Walgreens in my area, but found it at a competing chain. The instructions were easy and results were fast. Praise God the results were negative! Just a bit of advice...follow the instructions carefully! I was so nervous I submitted my sample incorrectly the first time so the lab rejected it. I had to buy an additional test...which can get pricey if money's tight.

Once I got this product, I read the instructions and began collecting the blood sample. The easy to use return packaging and pre-addressed postage envelopes are very helpful. My test results were ready as promised. The 1-800 number even offers live operator assistance and a printed copy of your results if needed.

I've questioned my status for awhile and felt that I had to get tested. So, at 3AM on Sunday night, I headed to Walgreen's. [...]The test is very easy and anonymous. Register your code, use lancet to get the blood flowing and drop the sample blood until you fill the circle - making sure it soaks all the way through the sample pad. It took me about 10 minutes to complete the test. I packed it up with the enclosed supplies and dropped it in the [...]box on Monday morning. Be sure to read everything and follow the instructions word for word.On Tuesday, I started calling to check my results. I was very afraid and the waiting was driving me crazy. I talked to a counselor to see why my results were not available in the afternoon, and she was very nice. She helped calm me down and assured me they would be available at 6:30 PM central time. I called back and got the result... NEGATIVE. Thank you Lord! Please folks, get tested. It can save your life. No matter the outcome, you'll have the knowledge to get treatment and stay healthy or reinforce the facts of being careful. Its the best [$]you will ever spend. Thank you for this awesome product.
I would have paid ten times the amount for the piece of mind this has given me. Unfortunatly the Internet can make you panic with all of the info that is out there. I could not wait 3 more weeks to be tested and wait another week for the result. This is a scary disease, and worth every pennny to know that you are negative. Very discreet, and got my results the next day. Buy this product if you are unsure!!

Just had to review this product. Had a nagging feeling I should test just to be sure, and called to make an appointment for a test. After doing so, I really thought about the lack of anonymity in doing that. So I got this product and used it. It was incredibly easy to follow and use! After sending in the sample early afternoon, I got my results over the phone the next day in the evening. Negative! Dont let the price tag daunt you. The discreteness is worth the price, and a private thing got to remain so. Trust me, but this if you want to test.
I got very feared before I test myself. I also did a lot research about HIV on the internet, that got me even more nervous. But we all know there's only one way to find out. Home access is really easy to use, everything is very clear, it's hard for you to make a mistake. First you follow to get the blood sample, then you Fedex it to the Add. You can keep track of the standard over night shipping by Fedex. It all gets there the next day at like 5,6,7 am, then Home access people will come to pick all up at 9 am central time(they don't wait for Fedex to delivery). Your result will be ready at 16:45 central time(my is negative thank god!). Please don't let yourself be nervous for so long. Get tested! Counselors are really easy and kind to speak with, I was very nervous when I called. You can get Home access at Walgreens.

I was nervous to go to the doctors to get tested , so it was much easier to to take the home test. It keeps everything private , and only you know the result(negative) thank god. You can also have it emailed to you after you call. This product is definately worth every penny that it costs!!
After hearing so much about HIV and AIDs all over the media, I was finally scared enough that I thought I should get tested. I was too terrified to face my doctor, and there is no anonymous testing in my state, so I looked to the Internet. I was so happy that I was able to buy this test in the store, and the woman at the pharmacy counter was very sympathetic to my embarrassment and checked me out in back so I wouldn't have to carry it to the front. I was able to do the test that day, Wednesday, on my lunch hour, but wasn't able to get it to the FedEx drop off in time, so it didn't go out until Thursday. I was scared that I would have to wait the whole weekend before finding out my results, but to my surprise and joy, I was able to get them by 11 a.m. on Friday. NEGATIVE! I recommend this to anyone, it feels much better to know for sure than to just assume that I was negative. I was scared of the needle, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, and the instructions and telephone recordings were easy to understand. This moment is a turning point for me, knowing I am negative gives me incentive to stay that way, and I urge others to do the same!

Really clear instruction, and quick results (got mine via phone within 48 hrs). Fingerstick not near as scary as I anticipated-not at all painful. Only complaint - I felt compelled to order online as the front cover is not very discreet.
This was so easy to use. The instructions were very clear and I received my results within 24 hours...just as promised! This test could save your life, and the lives of others. Get tested.

Great product! On the day I received the product, I obtained the sample and sent it back. Within two days, I had my results. It really gives you a peace of mind and it's sooo private! I was doubting my status for some time. Got some symptoms these days. Scared to death to give HIV test. But somehow did this using Home Access.Instructions were clear. [...]THANK GOD NEGATIVE !Only thing to remember is to give the Package to [...] before cutoff time 4:45 PM at my place. Since i gave it after the cutoff time, it was delayed another day.I want to call tomorrow to deliver the results to my Email to go through the complete results.

Simple and straightforward
I have used this method versus visiting local doc for a test. Would rather not deal with the potential of a positive result coming back and having my insurance become aware before i am ready to deal with it. Really like my own privacy and not having to discuss my sexual practices with a stranger.
This product is 99% to be accurate and approved by the Centers for Disease Control.
This is better than any clinic around. I tried to find an anonymous, rapid-results test in Los Angeles and it boggles my mind how hard it is to locate just that. So many places require ID, are not free, and take 1-2 weeks. This is incredible, super easy to use and quick-got results in 1 day (negative, thank God). It was money well spent for quick peace of mind and would recommend this to EVERYONE, especially those who are concerned about their status.

Very quick, though while it advertised as results in one business day, is more likely to be desrcribed as two to three business days. But with many in-house lab results taking 5 days this is still very prompt.
This product is well worth the money. I have been doubting my status for 5 months and I finally got the nerve to get the test after stressing myself out. Gladly my results came out negative. If anyone out there is doubting themselves I suggest getting the test right away in order to avoid the stress of not knowing.

I've been doubting for 5 month, but final I decided to do it. It was very convenient and fast (cause you can lose your mind waiting for results for 2 weeks like if you've done it in regular doctor's office). And I'm glad my results came out negative. I recommend it to everyone who could possibly be exposed. Knowledge is always better.
The convenience was worth the cost and the counselor was gentle and understanding. I'm glad I finally got the nerve to purchase this product and would easily recommend it to my closest friends.
