Very inaccurate,bought this product on 24 Jun 08. my doctor monitored my readings and compared them with her readings for 7 days and this monitor was always off by 30 points, sometime more. Taking it back today.

Home use. Models look great. Sent the first unit back because Systolic/Diastolic off by 30 points. Second unit sent back Systolic off by 14 points. This unit [$] could scare you to death and cause the very problem you are trying to address. Very disappointed.

My husband used this product for two weeks and his blood pressure read over 135/90 every day. He was scheduled to go to the doctor the following Monday after a weekend away. While on our trip, he had an episode and went to a local Walgreens to buy another - this time the wrist model. Same company but TOTALLY different results. The results at this moment while having the heart episode were normal. Strange! We tested the two monitors against each other when we arrived home and the following days and the results are dramatically different. The wrist monitor reads normal as the arm monitor reads very high. This is upsetting to say the least. We felt it was important to trust the monitor that was purchased. Now we have no idea which is correct. There is nothing on the wrist monitor instructions stating that we should change our reading. Our biggest concern is for people who think that the monitor is accurate as stated on the box and they don’t know that it is not.

I wasn't sure I liked it at first, but if you sit or lie still while using this product, it will give you an accurate reading. If you move around too much it seems to make the reading go higher.
I noticed this when I tried it on my 8 & 10 year old sons. But when they would lie still, it gave them an accurate reading. So I use it daily, and find that is seems to be very accurate, therefore I would purchase it again and also recommend to friends & family.
