Bought this for my 54 yr old mother recovering from hip surgery. Shopped around and felt this was the best option -- other products were too big or were over-priced. Item was easy to install and to adjust. Item fits nicely in her small apartment bathroom (toilet is close to the bathtub, but safety rails do not get in the way). I used these rails after having two total knee replacements. They are sturdy and solidly attached to the toilet. The rails snap into the mounting bracket so they can be easily and quickly removed from the toilet if desired and just as quickly replaced.

The legs could be designed to be able to be adjusted in lenght so that they firmly sit on floor.
