I've been smoking for less than 10 years. I tried quitting three times cold turkey. Each time less successful than the previous attempt. Never made it past the third day. I'm now on day 12. It does burn and/or itch a little bit for about the first half hour after putting a patch on. But it's a small amount of discomfort for such a short time. I'd say anyone who complains about the pain really didn't want to quit. It's honestly amazing.

I smoked almost all my life. One day I decided it was time to quit, so I started to see what options I had to help me quit. I decided on the patch and I am now an ex-smoker for nearly 4 months. I highly recommend this to anyone with the desire to stop smoking!!!

This made me want to smoke more and I'll tell you why. The patch burned my arm, my back, my side anywhere I put it. It was a constant reminder that I couldn't have a smoke. Don't get me wrong I had ever intention of seeing this through (especially at [$]).I guess maybe I had a skin allergy to it. So, NO, this didn't help me. I'm still smoking, it was easier than sitting with hell fire on my shoulder.

awesome product, the clear version makes it very easy to hide. controlls cravings extremely well you just sort of forget about cigarettes occasionally while drinking coffee or driving i want one but the urge passes once i realize how far i have come. bottom line it seems a little expensive initally but when you figure spending $5 on a pack of cigarettes per day that equals $1825 a year. you are totally saving money in the long run. think about what you could do with that money each year. The 2 other things that really helped were making a list of the 10 reasons you want to quit and the major things that make you want to smoke(i.e. going out to drink, coffee, etc.) and try and avoid them as much as humanly possible eventually you can go back to these things but at the beginning it can be tough.
