I have been using Nicorette now for five years since I stopped smoking. I was the kind of smoker that was strongly addicted (3+ packs per day) and so my doctor suggested I continue to use Nicorette indefinately. I have done that but it does end up being more expensive than cigarettes in terms of financial costs. In terms of physical consequences to me, Nicorette is far less costly than cigarettes. As a resut of 30+ years of smoking, I have COPD which makes it difficult for me to breath and I get lung disorder flare-ups frequently. If I continued to smoke I'm sure I would be dead by now. Because of Nicorette, I no longer have to smoke. Nicorette didn't do the whole job, but it sure helps a lot. You have to want to quit and see the benefits in not smoking before it's going to happen. Support from others is a must. It's impossible to do alone. I can't send you a picture of it but if I could I would. I have invented a personal, carry along with you dispenser for Nicorette. It will hold 36 pieces of Nicorette. It's plastic, unbreakable, and fits in your pocket very nicely. Not even noticeable.[...]
