I use this product when I have a sore throat from sinus drainage. It helps sooth my sore throat. If I have a sore throat at night, I put it in my check and the menthol stops my sore throat long enough for me to get back to sleep.

It does have a strong flavor. However, it has to be strong to do the job, yet it's not overwhelming.

The best relief for a sore throat!! I am prone to sore throats and these are definitely the best. However, I did find that warning of "excessive use will cause a laxative effect" is true! I took about 7 total in a day and that did happen. I looked online at the other flavors and the Cherry Honey ones did not list that as a warning, so maybe those with sensitive stomaches should try the other flavors instead of the Lemon-Mint.

I tried Ricola cough drops about a year ago for the first time. I enjoy Ricola because the cough drops have a pleasant taste to them and they are very effective for easing sore throat pains. Even though I am tempted with lower priced cough drops, I will always purchase Ricola Cough Drops without a doubt.
