I have owned a much more expensive ionic air purifier and this one is of comparable quality. It does a fabulous job in the area I use it, living room and kitchen. I will be purchasing more for my home. It's easy to maintain and very quiet, I only occassionally hear the whispering sound of dust particles being captured and wrestled to the floor.
My street was recently reconstructed and was reduced to dirt for about 8 months. The purifier went into overdrive. I did have to clean it more often, but it deserves a medal of honor for attacking the impurities that were thrown at it.
