This felt great but after 3 uses, the material got
caught up in the rollers and froze the motor. It felt good while it lasted though. I've also heard that other massagers by Homedics break when you put too much pressure on them. Not sturdy enough for those that want deep tissue massages.

I have tried many message items, and this is the ONLY one that I was not disappointed with! A coworker, who is also a RN, brought hers to work for me to try. Everyone on my Christmas list is receiving one this year.
After reading the great reviews I went out and got one of these massagers. To save you some time and money...Get 2 smooth rocks about the size of ping pong balls, Put them on the floor, Lay on them and move around! It's the same thing but don't cost any money. Good Luck

I bought this massager because I wanted something for my shoulders and neck. I have one of the chair massagers that one of my daughers gave to me and that works great but it doesn't get my neck and upper shoulders. After working my ten hour shift at night in a trauma hospital nothing feels better than lying on my massage pillow on my bed and drifting off to sleep. It has an automatic shut off after twenty minutes or so. It's the best money I've ever spent.

I sampled this product at the store in Florida and it seemed like it would give a good massage. I bought it and used it and love it! It gives a deep massage and you can use it on your lower, middle and upper back, depending on how you position it. My Nice also love it and I bought one for my other nice. Great great......... product. Has automatic 20-minute shutoff which is a good safety feature.

I was very surprised when using this product. I was so amazed how such a small item could do so much for my aching muscles. I would certainly purchase this item if you are looking for any type of relief from chronic back pain.
If you are looking for a dainty massage similar to what you would get from a svelt Scandinavian woman worried about breaking a nail...forget it.The power of this massager can only be compared to:A 250 lb. Slavic woman who works in the fields 14 hours a day...a woman who has strong sausage like fingers,and probably wears a babushka[*] This massager is not for whimps.It digs deep to where it counts.It is not just effective on the back and shoulder's..but also on the legs,arms,feet,even scalp.One of my best purchases ever!

Used it to relieve tension after a neck torticollis. It works wonderfully and it's easy to find those oh-so-sweet spots where it feels just perfect. Because of it's compact size and place-me-anywhere style, it's really easy to hit all spots.
Even on the heat setting, it doesn't get super warm. I think they did that to avoid the risk of fire - the soft plush might not be heat's best friend. But it definitely is warm enough and soothing. It is mighty powerful; no matter how much body weight I put on it, it just keeps going on. I couldn't have asked for anything more powerful than this. And a two-year warranty is good. I am recommending it to all my friends.
I'd purchased this pillow after injuring my left shoulder, neck and upper back falling down a flight of stairs @ home. I've been at home on disability since. There's not too much I can do around the house without pain-and sitting for long periods of time is even worse. So finding this pillow has been a blessing!
AND it feels darn close to the neck massager at my chiropractor's office! After many a sleepless night, waking up even stiffer than I was the night before...it has been wonderful, just wonderful.

I purchased this as an inexpensive alternative to the one you put in a chair and because several reviewers praised the pillow version over the chair version. My husband is not too impressed with it. He doesn't like to have to move it around. I, however, like it - and it does a great job of working out the knots in my shoulders - even if it is a bit uncomfortable.

This is second one. First one, heat light didn't work. I love the product and I may have gotton a lemon first time. Work at a Chiropractics office and recommend this to all patients that come in.

This is a great product. The only thing that would make it better is if the massage nodules moved closer together for us smaller folks. But, other than that, it's a great product!
You can move it to the specific area needed, so you get the best massage. You can use it by yourself, no one else needed. I absolutely love this & so does everyone else that has tried it so far!

I bought this for my 22 year old son who suffers back strain from his job. He absolutely loves it and recommends it to everyone. It saves me from wearing my fingers out trying to rub his back.
Great to use after a hard days work
I tried my sister's on Thanksgiving and did not want to give it back. I've recommended it to several people and plan to recommend it to everyone I see - especially those who have muscle tension.
