I used this brace before and after carpal tunnel surgery. The black neoprene Velcro braces my doctor gave me were hot, uncomfortable and itchy.
This brace was cool and comfortable enough to wear during the summer heat and feels soft on the skin.
It's always good to get two, one to wear while the other is washed. It does have to air dry, does not contain any metal so, no hassle at airport screenings.

Very soft/silky feeling against skin, great support without scratchyness of uncovered velcro. I use to immobilize wrists in ergonomic position during bouts of tendonitis.[...]

I have carpal Tunnel and also arthritis in my wrist. This is the most comfortable brace I have found in the last 12 years. I ahve tried many different brands...THIS ONE IS THE BEST!!!
