I loved this product.I had a spiral perm which at first i loved.I have natural wavey hair already so you can image how curly hair was before the spiral. I got really tired of all the maintance and decided it was time to go back to my natural hair.I tried this product.AMAZING.... YOU REALLY HAVE TO GO BY THE INSTRUCTIONS THOUGH.A LITTLE TIME CONSUMING BUT WORTH EVERY MINUTE IF YOU DO IT BY THE INSTRUCTIONS.MY HAIR WAS REALLY CURLY AND I ONLY LEFT THE TREATMENT ON FOR 10MINS.CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE HAIR IF NOT USED CORRECTLY.

I tried this out thinking it would make my wavy hair straight. If anything it made it more wavy. Also my hair was very damaged after using it. I wouldn't try it again.

I am mixed with black and asian and it straightened my hair. My hair is thick but not course enough to use black hair care products, so this was perfect for me. I used it 2 years in a row. It does dry your hair out but I would suggest to deep condition it after a week, it will keep your hair from breaking off. I highly recommend this product!!!! [...]

This has been the best hair summer for me since using Easy Straight. It has been almost 3 months and the humidity has been brutal but my hair has never looked and felt better. I have thick wavy hair. Even though I followed all the directions exactly, this product did nothing more than make my hair weak. I would take a flat iron over this anyday. You have to shampoo and condition your hair three times during the process, and the fumes are intolerable at best. Doesn't work at all.

I have fine strands, but lots of hair that is wavy/curly and very dry and frizzy. I didn't go into this expecting stick straight hair, I just wanted to relax it a bit to make it easier to do.

Big mistake. It did not work at all on my bottom layers and stripped all body from by top layers leaving a lot of frizz in it's wake; it was worse than what I had started with. I was left with frizzy half straight, half still curly hair, not to mention it isn't exactly a conditioning creme to improve your hair's health. I would not recommend this at all

I have used various hair relaxing systems since junior high (many years ago). I have curly, frizzy, thick, color treated Caucasian hair that is very dry and impossible to style without some straightening. My stylist encourages me to relax my hair, as it easier for both of us (he won't do it in his salon, as it smells so bad).

Currently I use this product to touchup my roots as new hair continues to grow in curly, about every 3 or 4 months. It is fairly easy to use, compared to other brands. It does smell terrible, however this is true of all relaxing systems. I particularly like the conditioning oil, which does not come in other brands or kits I have used. In all relaxing systems you must follow the timing chart exactly, as hair will break off if it is over processed. This kit is my favorite.

I have thick, wavy, caucasian hair and I decided to use this product to try to reduce the time it took to dry and flat-iron my hair, and because it was supposedly "safe and gentle." I followed the package directions exactly and used the shortest processing time. It caused the hair along my hairline and part to BREAK OFF at the SCALP! Afterwards, my remaining, throughly-damaged hair was slightly straighter and easier to dry... but it still needed to be flat-ironed or it looked like a frizzy mess.

pretty easy to use just a very strong odor, i use it every three months, this will be my third time. works great! i have curly thick hair and frizzy ... my hair isn't perfectly straight but easier to straighten with blow drier and won't frizz when i go out at night like it used to. it stays nice, does not leave your hair hard or stiff after use. i colored and highlighted my hair about 5 months ago (need to do it again) but didn't damage my hair. the box says to wait 2 weeks if you want to color or highlight hair after use.
