I have short, choppy-layered hair and needed a product to emphasize the texture in my cut. I've tried many texturizing sprays from expensive salon-brands to the not-so-expensive and this one is the best. This is the only SH product i've tried and I've found it works perfectly plus it's easy to use. I spray it on slightly damp hair before blow drying and then straight -iron pieces. With this product I need not use much or any hairspray afterward. It's awesome!

I use this when blow drying, right before completely dry. It gives a slightly piecey look and shine without weighing hear down. I also use it on days when I don't wash so I can pick up some shine, fresh scent, and texture. LOVE THIS STUFF !!! Btw, I have wavy hair on the fine side so I like that this product is not heavy. Be sure to shake before using though to get best results.

I took a chance on this product hoping it would work and was amazed at how great my hair turned out! But, I believe it is important that you have the right haircut (short to medium length with lots of layers). I like to do one side of my hair at a time; spraying and blow-drying and then doing the next side. It's important to spray a very light mist (don't saturate your hair) especially if you have thin hair. Finally, I can look in the mirror and say WOW! That's COOL!

I tried this product with high expectations, after all it is Sally Hershberger. Sadly, NOT so good. Really unimpressive product and WAY too much money for something so ineffective. Save your money.

this is by far one of the best products i've used for my hair. you basically just spray it on and blow dry everywhere. after that, viola! you have a shaggy look that's cool and very modern. i recommend that you buy this product!!

I really like this spray and was amazed that it actually worked. Too many products make big claims and do not follow through. I am growing my short, layered hair out and I think this shagg spray will help me through the awkward between stage! The only thing I am not happy with is the small bottle size, not sure how long it will last.

Comparatively, this Sally Hershberger product is very expensive, and should work as good as a salon brand. It did not!!! My expectataions were high and this product simply did not deliver. Don't waste your money!

OMG!!! The BEST product for gals with layered hair!! After blow drying..spray a few mists all over your hair (even underneath)from far away...hold bottle arms length away and then blast in every direction with the hair dryer till dry. (Spraying too close will make it too oily), when done use your fingers and place hair where you want it! Makes your hair shiny and "piece-Y" GREAT product!! Her Shampoo for Normal to Thick hair is FANTASTIC too!! MUST try!!!

This product is EXCELLENT. I saw it mentioned when it came out in one of the fashion mags and frankly I was surprised that it was going to be available at Walgreens rather then Sephora or Ulta, especially for the premium price. But I ran out to Walgreens and I LOVE this product!! It is lightweight, not greasy, and has a very light scent. I'd classify it as a spray-wax, but the texture is lighter than any other wax or pomade I have tried (and thrown away because it was too heavy for my fine thin hair!) This is a great style spray if you have layered hair and want to show off the layers - without using a stiff, sticky, greasy product.
