I've boughten 2 of these. The first one I had for less than a year when the heating sensor broke, and the straightener got too hot and fried my hair. 4 months later and I am still dealing with extremely damaged hair. I liked the straightener so much, I went and bought another one, but it recently stoped getting hot. I recommened the straightener to my friends, but if I'm going to have to buy a new straightener ever year, I wouldn't purchase it.

I love this product. It heats up fast. It stays hot. Infact, mine seems to get hotter the more I use it, which is the complete opposite of my old one inch iron. I love the comb. I love the two inch plates. I love everything about this product. It used to take me about 45 minutes with my old one inch and now, it only takes me 10-15 minutes. And you can't beat the price. Very budget friendly. This product is a steal. Love it love it love it. Can't say enough good things about this product.

I have long thick hair and it is naturally curly but i straigthen it every day so i bought this one and it did not work. it seems as if i was was only making damaged and worst than before. If i use this one i would have to use a another one with it which is just a waste of time.

This straightener didn't work very well at all. It doesn't get hot enough and, for whatever reason, doesn't straighten my hair at all..I wouldn't recommend this product.

This product was a total waste of money. I have always purchased Conair products because they have been durable. This product not only yanked my hair out on almost every use (hair getting caught in a gap between the plates), it stopped getting hot after less than 2 months. Conair has made much better products.

Only problem with this product is the heat dial moves too easily and it is located right where you thumb naturally lays on the product. I have to keep watching the dial so when I want it to be a 15 it ends up at 25 and I have to keep moving it down. Tape is my remedy for that. Can't beat the price. I come out with the same shine and straight hair that my friend gets with her Chi that she paid a fortune for. I also get done in 1/2 the time too because of the large 2" plates.

I taker showers every other day, and i only have to straighten my hair every other day because it lasts for 2 days. It works AWESOME for thick hair and the best ever for my wavy hair. Mine just broke this morning after 3 years of use, but im going out right now to buy a new one. :D FOR THE GREAT WORK IT DOES, ITS WORK THE MONEY!!!

This is a awesome product I've had it for over 3yrs. it just broke=( I'm planning on buying another one....I only use it for special occasions since it can damage your hair, especially if you have thin hair I would not recommend every day use.

I got this product i think in september...I wanted it to straighten my hair fast in the morning so it could look fantastic all day. I had gotten this one because my old conair one was not working anymore. I had very nice shoulder length hair. The product worked well for the first three months, but then i noticed my hair splitting and dead ends showing up everywhere! Now, during the day, i sit there trying to reduce my damaged hair, but the starightening part works. The heat-up is fast and my hair gets many raves.(but that is because they are not up close enough to actually SEE my hair) I am looking for a new less damaging straightener to use. When i wash my hair, i always use this damage reducing shampoo. So i recommend getting a shampoo like that if you are purchasing this product.

i started using this about one and a half years ago. at first i thought it was working well, but now i realized that my ends are sooo dry then every time i straighten it my hair gets caught between the ends of the plates (which hurts). it might work for someone else, but not me. By the way my hair is kinda thin.

this staightener has to be the best one i have ever used. its not possible for me to find a better one. it literally heats up RIGHT when u turn it on...its reaaaally quick im not joking here! and within one minute it WILL straighten your hair instantly. its the FASTEST thing of all the hair appliances i've ever seen haha...oh and its also like the best with thick hair, NOT that its not good with aaany hair but usually you cant find one thats reaaally good working with thicker hair but this straightener works 100% for any hair type SERIOUSLY! it doesnt frizz ur hair up and if ur hairs already frizzy it'll fix that in a breeze...no one would probably believe me when i say that...but i couldnt believe it either the first time i used it! trust me on this, i know you dont know me but i am NOT lying to you...this straightner is SOOO frickin good!!! and i would NOT be on this website writing a review and wasting my time if i didnt think so...so PLEASE go buy this one if you're going to purchase a straightner...every girl that has hair needs one and this one's the best...and dont listen to that other person..i dont know WHAT shes TAAAALKING about!!! and when u use this one you'll agree with me ;) hahaa

it takes forever to straighten my hair and my hair is pretty darn thin! it takes me at least half an hour to straighten my hair with this!! its not worth buying!! it sux..i had it to 2 months ...and it broke already!!!!! BAD IDEA ON GETTING THIS!!
