i use this straightener all the time and after about 2-4 months it begins to break and the plastic gets stuck. i recommend buying a different straightener because this one won't last that long.

I've had this straightner for about a year now and its a good straightner but you cant use it till your hair is some what damp and totally dry and it sometimes makes your frizzy. but its my best friend. lol

It dose seem to keep the hair straighter if u use it wile your hair is still wet. But it dose do a good job when dry. It did take me sometime to get used to it and not get burned when my hair is wet as the steam of it gets really hot even with using 8-10 as the heat setting, I have thin hair and you should never use more then a 10 heat setting. Also make sure you get yourself a good leave in heat treatment. I will say whit as bad of hair as I have sometimes it has not damaged my hair or dried it out.

I bought this straightener about eight months ago. Since then I've gotten a lot of use out of it and it still works great. Gets very hot on the upper settings. The tips of the ceramic snag my hair sometimes though.

takes me hours to do my hair cuz its not hot enough. Basically it doesnt work. Just save up money and buy a good one!!

I have thin, sort of curly and sort of straight hair. this straightener works okay, but it doesn't make my hair straight enough. it heats up fast, but I have to spend a lot of time redoing it over and over again before it gets straight.

I did not like this straightener at all. I don't have extremely thick hair but it is thick. My hair can be hard to straighten and this did not do well for me at all. I have a wet/dry straightener that I love. I would not buy this if your hair is hard to get straight or very frizzy. It just did nothing for me and I need something that works well and works fast.

I have thick African American hair. I used the straightener after taking down braids and it made my hair so silky and straight. I have 2 other Conair straighteners and this is the best one. I love it and would recommend it to friends/family.

So basically my hair is a giant frizz ball with a side of thick! It was unbarable to tame and i thought I was going to go crazy.That was how i felt before i used this product. Now my hair is as thin as a sheet of paper.I will never go back to that frizz ball ever again! thank you Gods of hair!

Definently a great product! I have naturally straight hair, but this straightner reduces "fly-aways" and makes my hair very smooth! I don't know how it works with curly hair, but I'm sure it works excellent. Heats up fast, and stays warm. Great price, too!

i would have to say to most of you who buy this product it is NNNNNNNOOOOOOOO good it may heat yes just like a straightner should but it doesnt work at all. i own 2 straightners this one and the other bulky conair one i recommend you buy one thats bigger if your hair is thicker and mine is in between thin and thick this product is very breakable and flimzy i never use it it just sits there ive tried it severel times and full heat its .... JUST BaD it was a waste of money! i know because i work at a [@] as a beauty adviser so i know pretty much about these products

I've just bought this today, and the moment I dried my hair with it, it was just astounding. It dried up my hair real quick and straightened out perfectly. This morning, I also used it and got great results. My hair was VERY straight out and it lasted out the whole day! However, I've notice more damaged strands more than ever. I never noticed these before, and I sure hope it's not from the iron.

My old straightener would striaghten my hair, but i would always hav this one wave tht would come bak in the middle of the day! so i decided to get this one based on the good reviews and cheap price. now mi hair stays completly straight all day long! it heats up SUPER fast and super hott... and i usually always burn miself from the steam of mi wet hair wen i'm drying it (but the result is worth it!) the only bad thing is the little thumb grip... it rubs up against mi thumb and makes it really hurt!

well i purchased this product and couldn't wait to straighten my hair when i got home. my hair is very frizzy and dry! it does heat up quickly (i nearly burned myself). it was so easy to glide through my hair! it made my hair straighter then my old hair straightener (which was shocking). althought i couldn't seem to stop thinking about this smell when i straightened my hair. it smelled really weird and like something was burning (hope it's not my hair). it took about 30 minutes to straighten my hair. the next morning i woke up my hair was straight but the end was sticking out which bothered me alot!! it took 15 minutes for the whole touchup. well i wasn't that satisfied with the product but i'm just glad i have healthier && straighter hair and that it works better then my old hair straightener.

this product is great. it heats up quickly and works amazingly...if u straighten ur hair at night for 20 min...u can do a 5 min touch up in the morning

This is a great product and has a great price. I was my hair at night and am able to start straighning it imediatly. It only takes like 30 minutes to straightin at night and in the morning for I do small touch up for 5 minutes and my hair is like straight silk! :)

This was a great product! I have long, thick, wavy hair that takes FOREVER to dry. So when I have to swim at school, this is like heaven. I can use it when my hair is wet, and it still makes it soft and controls the frizz (I still have to use some grease in it though) It's light so it travels to school really well.

I am black with natural curly kinky hair and after washing and conditioning then blow drying my hair straight I used this product on a high setting, I'm not sure how it would work on the low setting, but the high setting to flat iron my hair worked great and I was amazed at how well it worked on my hair, it looked as if I had used a hot pressing comb. This product with the combination of a good condition is excellent.

I have thick wavy hair. I divide my hair in sections and it works great. When I use it on damp hair it takes a little while. I have to dry it with low heat and then straighten it better on high heat, but it is even faster on dry hair. It leaves my hair soft and straight. I still have fly aways, but I don' think any straightner will stop them:) It is very light and great for traveling. [...]

My hair is thick and wavy. I don't normally blow-dry it since I wash at night + sleep on it. I like this iron since I can style my hair quickly in the morning, using only one tool, and using the drying feature when needed. My hair is left silky soft. If I want to use the curler, it's easy to switch back to the flat iron while it's still hot.

I've tried a similar (wide) flat iron before that did not meet my needs. I recommend this flat iron.

I did not care for this straightener I have very curly blond hair and this iron straightened my hair some what, but it came out very puffy fizzy straight. It is definitely not a straightener for someone with curly hair, if you want to have straight hair you might want to stick with a professional straightener. I am going to return mine.

This flat iron works really well! I think the probly the only way to get better than this is to buy the far more expensive brands. I would reccomend this flat iron over the more expensive brands unless you have very very course and kinky hair. But over all this works on most hair types; this even worked on my hair which is VERY thick and has alot of curls and kinks. I would reccomend this product!
