keeps my hair in better condition then when i have it colored at the salon. having to touch up my roots ever ten days would cost me a fortune without this product. i've been using medium brown for years.

I just wanted a haircolor that will darken my light ash brown hair to a dark rich brown, and look even from root to tip (no lighter/brassier roots!I'd tried them all, except Colorsilk. So I decided to try "Brown Black" and now I'm hooked 4 life! Brown Black starts off a beautiful lt. black shade, and then fades (all haircolor starts off darker & then fades) to a BEAUTIFUL, rich, very, very dark chocolate brown, and the color turns out TOTALLY even, from root to tip! AND it makes my hair a lot more silky, manageable, and shiny. No other brand has given me such beautiful even results like Colorsilk does! This is a perfect example of quality NOT correlating with price. SO in love w/Colorsilk!!!

I have used this in Medium Brown, Medium Ash Brown, and Dark Brown, to darken my natural light ash brown color,and have loved all 3 shades! Beautiful, natuarl looking tones, and doesn't damage hair (leaves mine silkier and shinier actually)! Don't be fooled by the low price, I have tried every brand of haircolor, and love this one the most! Will always, always, ALWAYS use Colorsilk!

My hair is in between dark brown and black, and using other colors my results are always either too dark or too brassy. I found this color and was absolutely amazed how great the color turned out. I WILL buy this again!

oh man this was my daughters idea to do this she did it for me for my 48th birthday. have used this product ever since was scared the first time i did it. but a friend told me what to do over [...]. that is how easy to use this product is. I just love my new look will keep it forever i bet...... yay revlon!!!!!!My daughter and I once again look like sisters!!!

I have always had good luck using the Revlon color products, but this shade in particular was much darker than the pictures and charts showed. If you are going for a dark brown, go a shade lighter. If you are going for an almost-black brown, this shade is perfect.

Although the first application it turns out slightly darker or brighter than expected, it is beautiful and consitant every time. It lightens up in one or 2 shampoos if you blow dry your hair. I am not sure why they call it "light", a "lighter" version of reddish brown would be nice

Works great on grey as long as there's no red in the color you pick. My favorite is Soft Dark Brown. I've tried Mahogany Brown but it leaves my roots a different color than the rest of my hair.
