This is a cool product if you dont want to have your hair permanently dyed. Although, i dyed it to red and my friends thought i dyed my hair purple,,wich seems to happen to everyone!!But after a while it went to the color i wanted it to turn to.=]

My friend bought the chilled plum for her own hair, but decided she would streak my hair with the excess. This was mostly to freak out my dad when he came to pick me up for break. This was over a month ago and the streaks are STILL bright purple, as is her hair (which normally repels dye).

I also listed long-lasting as a con because this dye is listed as semi perm, washes out in 8-10 days.

I have darkish brown hair, and after using product it had no effect. Product was fairly easy to use and came out easy as well. One just has to be careful while waiting the half hour as it does stain things purple. Again product had no effect hair color stayed the same.

Well, I've read it somewhere else in here that it turned hair purple. You can check that twice because its exactly what happened to me. I was looking for a non-damaging black for halloween last year and found this product. I didn't know until it dried..that it was deep deep purple. This only happened because I have highlights in my blonde hair. So if you have highlights, be warned, you will be purple.

This stuff was really amazing. My mom doesn't want me to color my hair permenant black. (I'm surprized she gave into this) We got the red stuff and it really worked. It still hasn't came out and it's been over 2 weeks. (It's hardly noticable) BUY IT!

It turned my hair purple. Not just a little purple, but dark purple and a few streaks of black. I am never using this again. I had to wash it out with laundry detergent, which, is not fun or good for hair. It is definitely not worth the money I spent on it (or any money at all). Save your money and yourself from having to go through this and just don't buy this worthless product.

Well let me just say this color is definitely not for people with light hair. I really wanted my hair black and ended up with.. well purple hair. it's a really funny story to tell now, but i wasn't exactly thrilled when it happened. on the plus side, it did wash out pretty quickly and much easier than the permanent black dye i used two months later on my hair that totally destroyed my blonde hair.. it's fun if you want to try a bold new color for a short period of time.

I purchased this product about 7 months ago. When I first used it I loved it! It gives me the choice to color certain areas that tend to grey more than others! It was not harsh on my hair and it did not leave a dull look. I also get relaxers and it did not cause any breakage what so ever. [...]

I had wanted to color my hair for a long time, but was afraid to try a permanent color. I have natural medium/dark brown hair and tried the black hair color. First of all it took "hours" to rinse out and then I notice my color was the same as when I started. Color Pulse did nothing for me.
