This is a good, basic conditioner (and shampoo - I have always used them together). I tried this brand because of a coupon and sale, and chose this product because I have medium-length straight hair, fine but plenty of it, and no real damage. I'm pleased in that my hair does feel soft and look shiny. I don't notice any strong smell of the product. I'm completely satisfied, and would use it again... but not so in love with it that I won't still try other brands as well.
