I've been using it for about a month or so. I didn't see results in two days, three days, or a week. But it does leave the skin softer and some of my acne went away... but then I got some new ones on places that never use to have acne. I know that there are many factors, but think before you by it. It may not work for me, maybe it works for you. I don't know therefore I can't just tell you not to do it if you want to. So what I'm ultimately trying to say is, it works like any cleanser. It may work, it may not. But it sure didn't help me that much.... p.s. if you're going to buy it, buy it when it's on sale. I brought it for [$]. To me, that's better than wasting [$] for the cleanser.

I've been using this product for about a month, every night before bed. After that I apply oil-free moisturizer and that keeps my skin from drying out (plus it makes it extra soft).
I hear that it doesn't work for some people, and I'm sure that's because they either over use it or their skin just doesn't agree with it.
But overall, I'm very pleased with the product!

i had a tube of this from over 4 years ago and it worked great! but when it started to run out, i bought a new one. unfortunately, they didnt have the blemish control one and i had to buy the invigorating one. the smell was much better than the old one but i'd like this see the blemish one on the shelfs more since its really the kind i need for acne.

I use this wash an avrage of 3 times a week. It cleans my face well and is very refreshing, but tends to slightely dry out my skin and irriate it.

My dermatologist said this is the worst thing to wash your face with. It irritates the he** out of it until you get lots of zits. Like washing your face with rocks. Do not buy.

I tried this product, because there wasn't any of the Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrubs left. I have to say, I mean its good stuff. It smells GREAT!, and makes you feel good in the morning. About the acne part, I mean it did get a lot of the acne out of my face ( I have occasional acne problems), but like it isn't as GREAT as Clean and Clear. Well whatever. That's what worked for me...

Product MAY cause Break-Out.
I don't consider my skin sensitive because this is the first time I've ever experienced break-out from a facial product. I brought this because of the good ratings...
This does make my skin soft, most importantly it works on my blackheads (I have to keep using it every 2-3 days) It's smells really good too.
But I don't think the break-out is worth it since it leaves scars on my face.

This is great product! I use this every morning and night and my skin has never looked better. This product gave me such a beautiful glow and my skin looks and feels so healthy. Almost all my blackheads are gone and my skin is perfectly clear. This is the best acne wash.

This product is a miracle worker for me. I found out about this product watching a skincare routine on Youtube. Over the years, I spent money on alot of products that would start off working when I first use it, then begin to not be effective on my skin, but not this product. If you have oily, acne prone skin, like I (use to have) then you will definitely want to go out and get this product. If you don't have sensitive skin, I would definitely recommend using this along with Seabreeze Actives (to use as a toner for oily skin) the combination of both products will make you very impressed with the results.

I used this product for my skin, which dries and peels but also breaks out and gets blackheads. It's gentle but effective for all three of these issues.

This scrub is fantastic! I use it a couple of times a week. I first use cleanser and then water on my face, then I use this scrub and I gently massage it onto my face for about a minute and a half. Then, I wash the scrub off with water. The feeling is so fresh, the smell is great, and it works to eliminate any pimples you may get. I love this product and will continue to buy it!

This works very well with oily skin...I have combination skin and it dried the skin on my cheeks but otherwise worked well for my husband who has oily and acne prone skin..

I am in my early 30s and have used St.Ives products since I was a young girl.My mom always had the regular apricot scrub on hand and she always had the nicest skin.I have had some problems recently with breakouts and mild adult acne and this is one of the best things I have tried.It is always has a great price as well.It is a great value.I am not bothered by the smell ,but it does not have a fun or pleasant odor.Otherwise its perfect.

I got it a couple a days ago and it was good. I mean i didnt help my acne alone, i needed to use acne cream to get away my pimples. it has the best smell EVER! It's kind rough at first, but then after a couple a days you get used to it.

This is a great product! It leaves your skin feeling refreshed and just overall CLEAN. I've had acne issues in the past (and still do- it was much, much worse before), but using this product in combination with non-oily moisturizer (Olay- $7!) daily has really helped my skin!! I highly recommend this product!

I have used this product for over 10 years and found it provided a great balance between a medicated and effective exfoliant and fairly gentle, non-irritating, fairly-natural product. It used to have a mild scent, but now they have unfortunately added a very strong artificial fragrance. (The packaging says "new scent" and isn't yet shown here on the [...] site).It's so strong it irritates the skin as well as the nose. I guess it is supposed to smell like apricot, but it smells more like a vodka/grapefruit-cocktail mixed with bug killer. The scent doesn't rinse off your face very well, so you get to gag on the sour fumes all day. I'm not sure if the earlier comment praising the smell was for this brand new scent or the old one. I wrote the company and they say they tested it for "acceptance" and I have known people to wear very strong scents that others hate. My friends agree it stinks, but maybe some people do like this new scent. However, I don't think long-time users of the product will be happy. St. Ides tries to market itself as "natural" and, though they never were totally natural, their products were fairly mild and attracted users who probably prefer not to scrub a strong "fragrance" into their face and then walk around with a noticeable (sour) smell all day.

I bought the product to try to improve my over 40's skin. I still have some acne from my teen years and yet my skin is also starting to get dry patches. I love the scent of the scrub and it makes my face feel softer and smoother. I am still waiting for the acne to clear up, but I also had other complications with my skin (nothing to do with this product). I also think the price for this is very economical, considering how much other acne products cost. I will definately be buying more of this when I run out.
