I tried a sample while at Walgreens & bought it on the spot. I use it on my cuticles & no longer have painful hangnails. Also, I applied it to a burn on my hand & it healed much more quickly than expected. I have even added it to my facial routine & it is working out well.

Bio oil got recommended to me after a co-worker told me it was awesome, and her sister in London used it after chemo and all of the damage that does to your skin and face for her in particular. It did wonders for her! I think that if it is too greasy for you, add a drop to your moisturizer and no problem!

The first few days were fine but it started to irritate my skin. I felt that my stretch marks looked a little better. But then it started to irritate my skin. If you don't have sensitive skin, then try it.

I used BIO oil for a scar on my shin (the front part of my leg) for 9 months every day, two-three times a day, it made my skin rough to the touch but no visual results. The scar did not fade at all.
Product is very greasy. I used it for sun spots. It did nothing to fade them and just caused my face to break out. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

i use this for my stretch marks in my stomach i have had them for 18 years and i dont like the way my stomach looks with all the stretch marks. I have seen this on tv and decided to use it i love it and would recommend it to my girlfriends and anyone else

Overnight it gives me the best skin i can wear. I apply it liberally and massage into my skin for 30 seconds and leave it. Works magic the next morning.

This product is awesome. It has been in the UK and Australia for years and is a best seller over there. I began using it on some old stretch marks on my stomach and under my arms after my sister gave me a bottle, follow the directions and be amazed. I have some deep colourless stretch mark scarring under my arms and after about 2 weeks of trying it I can notice a big difference. The stomach is alot smoother and I now don't look like I have been clawed by a cat! Don't waste your $$ on other water based removers you need an oil to get the job done. Probably not the best on an oily face but my combination skin does great when I add a drop to my facial moisturiser at night. A+ stuff.

My husband and I were just introduced to Bio-oil this past week by a Walgreens employee. We tried it on our arms neck and face and we love it. It says oil, but it is not greasy. My skin feels so soft after applying it. We are using it to see how it works on damaged and aging skin. We don't know if this is a miracle oil, but it is way up their in our book. We already have my 91 year old mother-in-law using it and she loves how she feels after putting it on. I have even called several of our friends to tell them how great this feels on our skin. If it wasn't for the employee at Walgreens, we probably would never had heard about Bio-Oil.

It really does fade scars! It does what it says. I noticed my pitted scars were becoming less noticeable after a month of use. However, this product also causes acne. I think it might be because of the mineral oil, which can clog your pores. I ran a little experiment and found out the product was the reason I was breaking out. So it was a hard decision... no scars? or no acne? I'm hoping to find another product somewhere that is similar, but uses better materials (not mineral oil) to hydrate skin.

I was surfing on the web for a scar diminishing product and came across Bio-Oil. Reading numerous reviews, I became curious so I went out and bought a bottle. It's been three days since I first began to use it for my acne scars and the scars have noticably faded. Although they are still there, I am convinced that once I complete using the bottle that my skin will be clear and healthy as it used to and should be. I am only 17 and the only thing about me I am self conscious about is my skin; I think Bio-Oil will help eliminate that constant worry!

I have seen commercials for this product for awhile. I bought a bottle of it from Walgreens about two weeks ago. I am simply amazed by the results. I applied it to my stomach area(morning and night), where I have stretch marks, and after only 2 days I noticed they were not as raised, and my that my skin was alot smoother. I have had strech marks since my pregnancy... 13 years ago! They are beginning to lighten up, and some are going away completely! I cannot believe it. I have always been self conscious about my stomach, and this product is actually making them go away! I am so happy!! I went back and bought 3 more bottles, and I am recommending this to every woman I know!!!

I have been using Bio Oil for about a month. I have very old strech marks - most of them from my first child who is 16 now. I use it everyday after a shower. I have seen major changes in the way my skin now looks. The marks are fading and the skin is smoother. No, they are not TOTALLY gone, but much, much better. Yes, it is a little expensive. But I feel that with all the time, energy and money I spend on my family I deserve a little something that makes me feel good about myself. I will continue to use Bio Oil. Thanks!!

I first heard about this product on a television advertisement. I am 19 years old and way too young to have stretch marks for my age and size. I'm 5'5 and 130 pounds. I have stretch marks that keep me from being young and enjoying my move to miami. I noticed within days that bio oil helped reduce the appearence of the stretch marks and scarring on my breasts and colar bone. I'm amazed and only hope that it gets better. It's very absorbant and I love that because I hate having overly moisturized skin.
I really don't understand why others haven't been successful. As a woman of color, I expected this product to only work for fair skinned persons but I'm a coacoa and it works great for me and my light stretch marks.
Wish it came in larger volumes though but well worth it.

I am in the sun a lot and have scars from severe burns. I am shocked to see after 3 days I can tell a huge difference in my skin tone.What ever this stuff has is what my skin needs and I cant wait to see just how much better it gets!

Read about this product on Makeupalley.com. I was on the lookout for a great reasonably priced effective skin moisturizer. Went online and researched mfgr. Tried this and it worked for me. It has no gimmicks. It is an oil that seems to restore the natural moisture level to dry or parched skin. It does have a slight odor which is not offensive. It is an extremely good value and a little goes a long way.

I use this product as instructed on pamphlet each day, I wash and apply to face and neck and breast area where shirts show skin first and then rub it in for 10 minutes until fully asorbed then apply to elbows,heels, scars and hands which I rub into nails as well. This is an all purpose product and it smells great. It has a cinnamon smell. I repeat twice a day,I will tell everyone and continue using this product in the future, I have used it for a week and I see great results. Now I am 60 with 40 aged skin but I just started looking forward to the future haha!! Try it you will also be pleased. I have a friend that has lupus and has very dry skin and it works great for her!

I have a auto Immune Hepititus (My immune system attacks my liver- no known cause) and have used prednisone over a 15 year period.
I have stretch marks all on my arms, back, even on the sides of my knees.
This is the FIRST product that has ACUTALLY made the stretch marks fade. Since I have so many stretch marks on my arms, I usually wear long sleeve during the summer.. but with this product I think this summer I *might* be inclinded to wear a T-shirt!

I LOVE LOVE bio-oil it is better than cocoa butter I had really bad stretch marks and they are almost gone...I recomend it to everyone with scaring or stretch marks

****I use this product every day after I take a shower. In two months I have noticed fading of my stretch marks. It is like they blend in better with my skin. They are not gone-but the color has changed and looks soooo much better!! I have spent 100's on creams and to find this inexpensive oil works the best is great!! I combine bio-oil with my keri lotion, which makes it last longer. I have been using bio-oil for at least 7 months, and when I look at my skin today I smile. I suffered with bad acne in face and bad acne on my chest and back: I really suffered with the scarring. I also suffered with bad flea bites that carried a bacteria, which left me with deep tissue scarring, as well. I have been using bio-oil long enough to say it has made a big difference, I know everything takes time but I have notice a change; it also keep new scars from turning black.

I use bio-oil after every shower and on my face. i found a little goes along way. My mother who is a cook and is up to her elbows in dish water during the day tried it and said nothing works near as effectively. I live in a small town with no Walgreens so I order online or stock up when near a Walgreens. Would love to seeit in larger sizes. Plan on never using anything else.

I bought this to use on stretch marks and scars but honestly have not been using it for for those reasons. When I found out how moisturizing it was, I forgot why I really bought it. I tend to get very dry and itchy skin during the winter and have tried so many products including shea butter. I would still find myself getting some sort of eczema during the winter. With Bio-oil my skin is doing great this winter. I use it along with regular lotion and at the end of the day, my skin is still so soft and supple. I do recommend this product for it's moisturizing capability.

I have eczema on my hands and bio-oil is the only product that I can use on my hands without any irritation and that actually soothes my skin besides my prescripted eczema cream. Most of my face is also extremely dry and i just slather on the oil and rub it in before I sleep and it works wonders. Even vaseline hadn't worked before. It's fading my acne scars and even though my forehead is acne-prone it hasn't caused more acne like some worry it will. My acne is actually going away though that could be due to a new facewash I'm using. It's even faded the dark circles under my eyes!! I noticed huge improvements after a week and though the improvements are no longer as dramatic there's still improvements each day after a month of use.
As for stretch marks.. I've had mine for maybe 10 years or more so I'm expecting it to take time for any improvements. If you read what the company says about the product it's NOT MEANT TO ELIMINATE stretch marks but it's MEANT TO HELP FADE them. I don't think a miracle product that actually completely eliminates stretch marks exist yet. They also say it takes at least 3 months to see improvements. I don't know if it's my desperate mind playing tricks but I do feel my stretch marks have slightly improved. I haven't paid a lot of attention to them lately so I don't expect huge improvements but I'm hoping for changes if I'm diligent. My main concerns are my face & hands for now and this definitely helps.
In early 40's and in Windy Chicago fair skin gets very dry (especially chin, lower/middle forehead). This had really worked nice so that when I put my foundation on I don't have visible flakes of skin as usual. Also, lately a few pimples have scarred my cheek for some reason and that area has gotten much better and even. Skin is more porcelain for me.

I'm on my 3rd bottle now. This product does a good job of evening skin tone and hydrating my skin all over. I used it after every shower and after I wash my face - so at least twice a day. Since it seems to be absorbed into my skin on contact, it's necessary to be generous when applying it -especially in the winter. It makes my skin glow and look great without a greasy feel.

I think it actually made my skin drier! I'm almost finished with the bottle, so I did give it a fair chance. I knew it wouldn't be a total miracle and get rid of my old stretch marks but I was hoping it would at least hydrate my skin. I think I'm going to just toss the rest of it out and try something new.

I bought the product after reading all those good reviews on it. I have no clue why people say it works. It doesn't even hydrate ! And its not like i didn't give it a chance i used 3 bottles.
So stretch marks are there, dry skin is there, scars look the same ...
I did get weird looking red spots all over my body and i started breaking out like crazy though!
maybe im allergic to it ? I don't know.
But im pretty sure that regular baby oil is more effective than that stuff.

I've been using this product for years and can't say anything bad about it, only good stuff! Ladies & gents the sooner you apply the better, if you want faster results, keep it with you all the time and work on that area whenever you get a chance. I've actually rubbed a fresh scar away in 2-4 days, it was unbelieveable and still is. The most affective action I've gotten out of this lovely product is when my skin is nice and warm, so either straight out of the shower or rub untill it's warm. Have fun and remember, apply as soon as you can!!

I used this product on scarring I had from surgery. With daily use, the scars faded and cannot be seen. I started using the product two months following surgery. It is more effective when used as soon as possible to promote healing and reduce scarring. It also helps to restore the elasticity in the skin. I love this product and am disappointed that [...] does not carry it. I order it on line.

I'm in my early-forties and didn't feel the usual skin care creams were living up to their promises. I wondered if, at my age, I'd have to start buying the extremely pricey stuff since I have very fair, very sensitive skin-- youthful, but beginning to show signs of age.
After one week using Bio-Oil I noticed a great difference: better clarity, smoother, more hydrated, more supple, much less "crepey" around my eyelids. I'm even tempted to say less sagging, but not sure if that's wishful thinking-- though it does promise to combat sagging, too.
I'm hooked.

This product is incredible in PREVENTING stretch marks. I used it before I started nursing my son and don't have a single stretch mark on my breasts. Altough I tried it on my stomach and my c-section scar and it did little. I wish I had it my entire pregnancy!

Having spent a fortune over the years-especially as I age, alas-I'm looking for effectiveness over all other characteristics. I'm almost 58, and nothing was working on dry patches and crepe/"chicken skin." Saw it mentioned in a women's mag, tried it, and within a WEEK, I kid you not, I am seeing dramatic results. I really did not have any expectation that it would help scars/stretch marks, but it does, plus it has refined, hydrated, and evened out my skin. Whatever is in it is what my skin needs. I'm a Caucasian American of UK and Russian descent. I thought I was hallucinating, it is so good. About the aroma: give it a chance and it dissipates in less than 10 minutes (I actually like its light smell of cedar). I'd buy by the gallon size if they offered it.

I have a ton of stretch marks on my arms from a growth spurt and I was desperate to try anything that said it would help stretch marks look less noticeable. Lo and behold I see a 1/2 page ad for Bio-Oil in a hair magazine. I ran around my city looking for it. I found it and immediately went to using it. Bio-Oil makes my skin look well moisturized but I do not see any difference with my stretch marks. I have been using it for about 2 months now and I will finish the bottle I have and call it a day.

I would HIGHLY recommend this product for anyone who has suffered the effects of summer on their skin or has dry skin. Not only does my skin feel and look better, it remains moisturized the whole day!!! As a person with severe dry skin, I swear by this product!!!!

This is an amazing product. I am a VERY skeptical person, so I did not think that it would work. I was actually looking into getting a breast augmentation because of the stretch marks that were on my breast, but after using this product I look great and feel so much better about myself.

I saw an ad on TV advertising this product so I ordered a bottle online.................well I don't know if I haven't used it long enough or not but I don't see any signs of improvements on my streth marks. It's an excellent skin moisturizer though. I'll try another bottle before I count Bio-Oil out

I bought this product to use on my stretch marks. I was told that I have the worst case of stretch marks and I saw results in one week after using bio-oil. My stretch marks have come a long way from what they were. I highly recommend this product.

I like this product being a woman of color. Growing up I got my fair share of mosquitoes bites,scapes and burns and I see a different.Now being a woman with stretch marks it's working gradually with a couple months I should have my new improve body thank you bio oil you have giving us a little hope.

I started using Bio oil in South Africa, my mother would send me Bio oil to America before walgreens brought the product to us in the USA. My skin was badly dehidrated, but after the use of Bio oil my friends asked what I had done there were no lines on my face and I looked so much younger, I also went back to have my skin tested and my skin was no longer dehidrated. So since then that is all I use. I am one of those people my total skincare must come from one bottle. So this is perfect for travel one bottle. At home my facel is only one bottle. I absolutely love this product. The only problem I have is that I'm 53 and don't seem to be able to use any other cream under or over this product. I do put a little makeup over it after it sinks in -- Don't know whether it attracts the sun to my face and causes it to burn. I REALLY WISH IT HAD AN SPF IN IT! That is my only concern.

I have been using the product for a week and I have notice a change in the way my face feels and looks. I have not had results with the stretch marks, yet, but I am hopeful. I know that it will take additional time. I have had my stretch marks for 26 years. Therefore, I am patient. If I have to purchase more than so be it. The product did not promise miracles, it gave us a little hope. I am not looking for my stretch marks to go away entirely, but I would like to see some improvement. Therefore, I will use the product for several months before I pass negative cons on it. I have had dark spots on my legs left from insect bites. I really would love to see them lighten up or vanish. I have not been ever to wear the short skirts or short pants my entire life. I have missed summer activities my entire life. I would like to walk on the beach, wear that short skirt without having to cover them up with dark stockings. I would like to be intimate with a man with the lights on.

I have been using this product for a month following my hysterectomy. The oil helped to stop the itching as the scar was healing. The scar is less noticeable and feels smoother. I also began using it on my face on areas where I noticed wrinkles. I have noticed less noticeable wrinkles and a smooth skin tone and complexion

I've been using this product for about a month, and heard about it from several people in Australia. It really is amazing. It reduced reddness and the size of my pores in the first week and made my skin feel baby soft. Bio Oil also has a nice smell so I didn't mind using it at all!

I originally pruchased while in Ireland. I was told it was the best face oil you could ever buy. I found that it made my skin very soft and reduced age lines within the first 10 day. People see my skin and find it hard to believe I am well over 60. It also reduced the pores on my face and I have not one bit of acne since I have started using. I am so gratefull I can now purchase this product in the USA. If you use before putting on your eye makeup it removes very easily at night. It does not clog your pores but enhances your face glow and elasticity.

I've used this product for years as it's been available in England. This is great for scars and stretch marks as well as uneven facial skin tone. It really makes scars dissappear and lightens stretch marks (even old stretch marks.) Would highly recommend.
