This mask is excellent, even for daily use. I apply it pre-shower, as rinsing it off in the sink tends to get messy. I also use it as a spot treatment for drying up an erupted pimple. A thin layer all over the face helps keep my skin clear and helps heals any active acne super fast. Highly recommend this product!

I have mild to moderate acne, so I wanted a facial mask that will help get rid of existing acne and prevent future ones. Use it about 2-3 times a week with your routine facial cleaning and you should start to see your face clear up!

Its really good for the price.
The consistency of the stuff is pretty thick, and the smell is extreme mint (I happen to like it but i don't know about everyone else)
I would recommend weekly/ 3 times a week use or as an occasional spot treatment. LASTS a LONG time.I would recommend investing in a cheap (aveeno is good)moisturizer, because it can cause skin to dry out slightly, especially if it is already dry in the first place

I love this product. It smells great. I have a t-zone type skin and it dries out with out doing it to much. It skrinks my blemish instantly and seems to calm the redness. Awesome product and it it works better than more expensive product.

I just bought this yesterday and it was buy one get one free! It's only about[$] which is a good buy.My skin has been damaged and scarred from popping/icking pimples and squeezing blackheads so I have a lot of scars on my nose. After using the mask and leaving it on for about 20 minutes, the pores shrunk and you couldn't see the harsh blackheads that made my nose look like it was sprinkled with black pepper.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I've always had a problem with acne since i was I hit puberty and after the first use me and my friend's face's were clearer and my blackheads were less noticable. It doesn't dry out my skin and it works better than the proactive refining mask which actually makes my face worse. I would toataly recommend this product to anyone that has acne problems.

This product is okay to use sparingly. I tend to use now and then, maybe every few months for a deep cleaning to get the dirt off my skin. As a person who has oily skin, after each use, this mask makes my skin extremely dry to the point where I look like a ghost. I usually have to put coco butter on certain areas just to regain some oil even though my skin returns to normal the next day or so. Putting on this mask is also a hassle. It's really cold, messy, and pasty. Usually, layering it on thin works just fine. When wearing this product, the minty scent is overpowering for me. So I am always glad to wash it off quickly. As one reviewer said, don't rub this off vigorously. I usually just soften it first then wipe gently with long strokes. I really do like how this product gets rid of the dirt on my face but it serves no justice for people who have oily skin. It really doesn't get rid of pimples but dirt? yes. Hence, the 3 star rating. I really rave about this product but I am indifferent on recommending it. I will just stick to my daily facial wash.

I don't see the big deal of this product. It's hard to apply due to it being too pasty. Maybe if it weren't so thick I would enjoy it as much as the other people do. It's good, but not in the "OH This stuff is awesome" category. I'll stick to the Face wash and Mask made by St. Ives. It does the same stuff, but without all the mess and frustration when being applied. Also St. Ives face wash and Mask is cheaper.

I'm 29 hitting 30 in a few months and I've used this product since high school. Usually only once a week for a deep face cleaning. Its awesome for blackheads/acne and even for those really deep pimples.

I normally wash my face with a fragrance free soap then use this as a mask. Let it dry well then rinse with warm water (don't scrub) and don't forget to use a moisturizer very important, I use Nivea in the big blue jar I love that stuff!!! Ah, your face feels like it can breath!!

You can also use this as a spot repair. With periodic use you will see great results. Remember once a week is more then enough for deep skin cleaning so you don't take all the nutrients your skin needs.

I bought this for my little sister and it literally reduced the size of her pimples in half. She still uses it for the occasional blemish or two, only applying a pea size amount over each pimple. I strongly recommend this item!

This is absolutely the best mask for almost every type of skin; however, you have to use caution with how often you apply it and to which areas of your face. The user that got what she called a rash beneath her nose and lower lip is most likely describing extreme dryness / burn in those areas, which in some skintypes become hypersensitive in winter.
While this mask will dry out your skin if you use it all over your face every day, most users can benefit but applying a thin-ish coat daily, just in the T-zone and other areas where pores are enlarged.

I find that if I really press it into my pores when applying, it works better to eliminate blackheads and whiteheads (it doesn't generally get rid of them in one treatment but over time).

Also -- extremely important -- do not vigorously rub this mask off with a facecloth, because if you do, you are probably going to cause broken capillaries (spider veins). If you must use a cloth, drench it with hot water and let it sit on your face to soften the mask for a second, then use it very gently.

Personally, I use it pre-shower and just hold my face up under the water to remove. You gain nothing by rubbing.

Other uses: put a dab on trouble areas (pimples, whiteheads), leave it on all night, they'll shrink considerably by morning and be less red.

Also, as a make-up primer on the T-zone area, a very very very thin coat rubbed in with wet fingers will keep shine away all day.

This is truly an excellent and astonishingly effective mask so long as you don't go overboard. remember, if you have sensitive skin, avoid your super-dry irritated areas or if you'd like to try there, try a very thin coat in a very small area.

Although the label says to use a thick coat, a thin coat will work just about as well, maybe better, as it's so much easier to remove, you can use it more often on areas of your face that need it.

It was awesome!! I went to a amusement park and stupidly didn't wear sunscreen. I got burned horribly! My shoulders hurt and my face was so red and dead and dried out skin was just bulging out from it. A week later my cousins and i had a little "girl spa night." I used this product and one of my cousins was like oh it burns and the other one said it did nothing. But then I took it off my face I felt my skin and all my dried out skin was gone even the read from my face went down. My face was so soft and refreshed it wasn't even funny. USE THIS PRODUCT IT REALLY WORKS.

Wow!I love this stuff and use it every few days.It smells good and leaves my skin looking amazing and younger.It is also fun to relax with this stuff on your face and have a nice hot cup of tea...a good way to wind down after a hard day or wakeup.I have oily skin and this leaves my face feeling fresh and my pores nice and tight.

QH Mint Julep masque works great every time you use it as long as you don't go overboard. Examples of going overboard:

Wearing it overnight
Using it everyday

Pretty much **ANYTHING** you wear overnight and use everyday will give you some kind of adverse affect and this particular product no different. If you bother to read the label then you'll see that it was not meant to be worn overnight OR to use it everyday. If you do then you'll be in the same boat as the people who wrote negative reviews.

Used in moderation, mint julep masque is a godsend for people with oily skin/blackheads. Used in conjunction with QH Grape Seed Extract will give you great looking/refreshed **NORMAL** skin. Do the routine one time per week and your face will look a lot better and you'll have fewer breakouts.

when i was going online to find a good mask that would take control of my pimples and shrink my large pores, I turned to this. Instead of getting the results i wanted, I got a rash under my nose and lower lip. (which is weird becaues I have NEVER had sensitive skin to anything) it hasn't healed in days. Worst of all, when I tried it the first day, it burned like hell! =(
*if your a good risk for that, buy it and a VERY good moisturizer!

This mask is great for removing oil and blackheads, but my skin has become super sensitive and I cant use this product anymore. It literally burns my skin, so I switched to QH Mud Mask. I wouldnt recommend for everyday use but it's good for that occasional pick me up. It also tightens skin and leaves it fresh and taut looking. Just follow with a really good moisturizer and you'll be good to go.

This product does what it says it can do. When it dries, you can see where it has gotten deep into your pores; and after it is washed off, the blackheads disappear. I noticed an improvement after using it twice (two consecutive days). The only problem is that it can make your skin feel dry, but other than that it really works!
