I got this powder from my mom, and I love how it covers my skin. It makes my complexion very even. It covers almost all breakouts I have. If you have very bad acne, it won't cover everything. So I recommend using a coverstick on the acne that's harder to cover first. Anyway, really great product! It's lasted for a very long time!

I was a bit disappointed that the coverage wasn't as good as I expected it to be. You could tell that I was wearing makeup, which wasn't exactly what I wanted. If you want a "natural look" this isn't it, because when you were up close you could definitely tell that I had foundation on.

This is excellent makeup! I hate liquid foundations and powder foundations have never given me the coverage I want. I have oliy, acne prone skin and this feel so lightweight and it doesn't clog pores. It covers practically everything and actually lasts a long time! When I stared wearing it my friends commented on how great my skin looked. They didn't know it was just my makeup. This truly is great stuff and works justs as well as the dept store brands of mineral makeup. I will never use anything else again. The eyeshadows are equally as great. Everything lasts all day!

I read many of the reviews on here and decided to give this product a try, as a wear for everyday to school. I must say, use this with a good foundation and your skin looks flawless!
but me personally i have very oily skin and by noon i have to retouch or blot, so it works wonders especially if you have normal skin.

First if your using this product you need to put moisturizer on or something for dry skin because then it will clump up and dry out on your skin and it will be hard to blend in. Second, after buying this product I decided that I should stay away for loose powders, its too messy and gets stuck on your jeans and black shirts. Third, I'n not a fan of the smell. Fourth, the brush sucks. Fifth, it made me skin itch. But is has great coverage :)

I wanted to give a less expensive product a try before investing in one of the "better" ones and chose this one since I usually find PF to be a good brand. But this product disappoints. It initially provides decent coverage overall and with spot layering on blemishes. However I tend to be hot natured and this makeup sweats off quickly - sometimes before I get out the door in the morning. It also tends to clump in the creases under my eyes. I don't usually wear makeup and was looking for something fast and easy to work into my routine that would give a more "finished" look. This is not it.

I bought this product a while back but didn't use it that often because I thought it was hard to apply evenly and lightly.

Then, I discovered that was just because of the stiff, heavy brush that comes with the powder, not the powder itself. I bought a nice, fluffy foundation brush to use with the powder and it works like a dream!

This powder evens my complexion very well (without hiding my freckles!) I love the light feel of it - it is NEVER ever cakey or heavy.

I have very dark circles under my eyes, and concealer often creases if I wear it alone. If I dust a little of this powder on top of my concealer, though, I have no creasing problems whatsoever (often times, if I'm in a rush, I can just put a little extra powder in the eye area and get away with skipping concealer altogether!).

Definitely would recommend this. Great value!

Throw out the brush that comes with it and find a kabuki brush, or something similar; and apply with a circular motion. Beautiful, natural coverage which you can wear light to even tone, or heavier for really bad skin days, or for a more formal look.

when i was young, my skin used to be so dry! but after my teenage years, my skin started to feel oily. It is actually still dry, but i have oily parts on my skin where I break out easily :(
so i started to cover up my skin with liquid foundation but I realized that it wasn't helping my skin get any better. I mean, it didn't make it worse, just didn't help my skin get better. So i decided to try out mineral foundation. I have acne-prone skin and I have acne, but not much. Just red blotchy acne scars. So i put on a little bit of concealer before I put on this product, and it was amazing!!! I love it sooo much! the brush sheds like a dog, but the minerals don't make me break out as much, and it's actually helping my skin! My acne products seem to actually work!

This product is great! It covers well by itself and on days when my foundation can't cover up all of my problem spots, this powder covers up what the foundation doesn't when applied on top. It works great for covering shine as well as bad spots on your face. A thin layer goes far. I've had my powder for a very long time and the product is only about half-way gone and I use it quite often. It goes really, really far!

Horrible...i wouldn't recommend it to anyone who don't want to break out after using it. I used this and it made me break out 2 days later. YES i wash my face good thats why i have no break outs until I used this product i would say buy and use it and you feel it settle gross in your skin STOP using it or you will get acne. I have oily skin and cannot use liquid foundation, so that stuff works good in the way that it is lightweight and controls the shine.
However, I don't like the packaging at all. I don't use the brush that came with it, I use another sponge and everytime I use the powder its very messy and hard to get it out. I also wish the powder would cover a little more.

I've used several different brands of mineral makeup: Bare Escentuals, Sheer Cover, Everyday Minerals and Joppa Minerals. Although I like them all, they can be costly (BareEscentuals & Sheer Cover).

Besides being reasonable priced, this product works just as well, if not better, than other brands. It gives my normally oily skin a very creamy-looking complexion. Also, I have a friend at work who has very sensitive skin. She wears this everyday with no irritation.

This is the first and only mineral make-up product I have used. I have fair skin and the translucent light shade is a great match. The brush that comes with it is perfect to quickly apply the powder. This saves me time when doing my morning make-up routine! I have oily skin. I have found that my skin looks less greasy at the end of the day with this mineral make up, compared to using a liquid foundation. LESS IS MORE...I find that applying a very light coat looks best. I love the way my skin feels in the past few months of using this. It actually feels like my skin is heathier too. I plan to continue using this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great make up product that simplifies your daily cosmetics routine.

I thought this was horrible!! I don't understand the reviews. I bought a medium shade because i have fair- medium skintone and it made me look so pale! it seriously made me look sick, and didn't seem to cover much. and OMG it looked caked on and i didn't even use a lot. it's so messy as well!! horrible ..i love physicians formula products and this was a disappointment.

I bought this and was so excited to give it a try. I am an oily - acne-prone type of gal. Sometimes a new product will break me out so I try to bear with it and see how it pans out.

I tried this for 3 days and thought I had found THE best foundation. This powder IS amazing in coverage and color BUT after that 3 days I noticed a really bad breakout (in places I never breakout) so I stopped using the powder and cleared up my skin.

I waited 2 weeks and tried again. I applied in the morning, washed off at night and woke up broke out AGAIN!! I stopped using it and decided it wasn't right for me even though I LOVE the coverage, I dont need any concealer when I use this foundation. I went about 2 months (no breakouts, nice clear skin) when I thought I'd give it one more try on New-Years-Eve. NOPE, woke up with breakouts.

I highly recommend this to everyone who ISN'T acne prone because it's a wonderful product.

This product has replaced everything I used to use as a base makeup. I am 39 years old and extremely picky about the base I use. I stopped using liquid or cream bases/concealer sticks years ago because I couldn't find one that would cover evenly, look natural and last all day. I started using Cover Girl Fresh Complexion Pocket Powder Foundation several years ago but still had to put some kind of other product on top of it to make it look right. Now that I'm using Mineral Wear, I use nothing else as a base; no consealer (even under the eyes), no powder. This stuff really and truly does give you a beautiful air-brushed look, covers uneven skin tones, no streaks (ever), no base needed underneath and wears well all day and into the evening with no touch-ups. Two things you need to know about this product: 1) you may have to try more than one shade to get just the right one. 2) Toss the brush! It's horrible and feels harsh on your skin. Use a makeup sponge instead (like the ones that come in the above mentioned CG product), it covers much more evenly with the sponge.

After having read so much about the mineral makeups and how great they were for your skin, I wanted to try them, but did not want to pay the price of the infomercial brands. I had a coupon for this brand and there was a great sale so I tried it - that was over a year and a half ago, and I liked it so much that I never bought the more expensive brands, I just continued using this one. I had used Clinique in high school and 20's, and Estee Lauder thru my 30's. I was tired of the heavy liquid foundations and what they were doing to my skin. I may be 40, but I do not have to look it! I still get break outs from time to time, but it is more hormonal than from clogged pores. I would recommend this to anyone - and have!

I have been wearing liquid foundation for 20 years and never ever thought I'd feel comfortable wearing the mineral powders. Now that I've used it, I can't stand liquid foundation! This is a good product at a good price, especially for those who'd like to try the mineral powders but don't want to invest big bucks in the "TV brands."
My skin looks better-- fresher, more natural, smoother. I'm surprised at how well it covers (coverage was my biggest concern- I tend to have splotchy skin tone).
It's funny how much better I feel wearing it-- I don't have to worry if my foundation is obvious or mask-y. The Physician's Formula gives my face a very natural, luminous look.

By the end of the day, I've noticed I end up with a natural glow, rather than having "stale" foundation caked in my creases.

A definite "I Am HOOKED!"-- My mom, 2 aunts and 2 cousins now use it

I have bought mineral based powders and found they were too drying, but this powder is awesome, it's lightweight, sheer, and makes my skin feel GOOD. Any great "mature" powder I have found I like the texture, it is too heavy! Just as any powder try to avoid under eye area.

I have combo sensitive skin. i have been on a quest for a good powder that does not make my cheeks get bumpy and red with irritation from makeup. i tried this powder and it is the best powder i have found yet! it covers my skin amazingly, but does not feel or look heavy and fake like a foundation. i am so excited about this powder. the only thing about it is that it doesnt have anything to prevent oiliness on your face. my nose gets oily, but all i have to do is blot my nose. the powder looks like i just put it on, and i go on with my life, knowing my face isnt going to get a rash. if you have sensitive skin, please try this powder, it will make your search for makeup end!

I have very oily skin and am acne-prone. This product is quite impressive as it covers up my large pores and slight imperfections, but after a few hours wear, I tend to get oily and the makeup starts to feel well- like a liquid foundation. It is probably due to my oiliness, but overall if I had normal skin then this product would have been completely perfect! So beware to those with oily skin, maybe you need to wear a mattifying moisturizer under this makeup before applying.

this is the only mineral product I have used that covered everything and DIDNT make me break out. Its great, its really light weight and you dont feel like you have this mask on you. I'm 15 so yea I need that extra coverage when I do happen to break out, and it always covers. I can get as close to my boyfriend as I want and he doesn't even notice that I'm wearing make up which is great! And it doesn't come off at all, so I dont have to worry that it'll come off on my clothes if I just happen to wipe the side of my face. All in all this is a great product for a reasonable price.

I had my doubts when I purchased this product, but believe me when I say I no longer have them. I have scarring and all liquid and cream gets in the scars and makes them stand out like a sore thumb.
