I bought this foundation because I was looking for a substitute to MAC's studio fix fluid, which to me seems pretty heavy and breaks me out. This foundation gave me great coverage and blended so easily. My skin is sort of acne-prone so it covered my few blemishes really well without need of a concealer. The color matched my skin tone really well and this foundation hasn't broke me out and I've been using it for about a month now. Overall, a really good foundation, but it does tend to slide off at the end of the day, but I fixed the problem by adding a bit of translucent powder all over to finish everything off.

Everyday coverage for my uneven skin and acne scars. This stays on all day and it is thick enough for the desert without being cakey or heavy. I used to have to freshen up every 4 hours, and now all I do is use the True Match powder after 4 hours to totally perfect my face at luchtime. Finally, a makeup that works for me! The color n2 is a perfect match! I find that misting my face at the end of the day makes me good for another 4 hours! So 12 hour coverage is all good!

I have purchased every foundation available in the drugstore, and have never found an exact color match. I have very fair, yet golden undertones, and most fair foundations are too pink/peach. True Match in "W2 Light Ivory", is PERFECT! The finish is matte, and even a thin layer covers really well. No oxidation, no breakouts, just a perfect natural looking foundation!

I use the product daily for a natural clean look. I always receive lots of complimants about my skin without make-up but to me my skin tone is uneven. True match gives me a clean look without looking matte out with powder. The best results for this make-up is when it wears at the end of the day. As far as being oily, yes it is but only in certain spots, and that to me is my natural glow......

product is great for a less expensive price (compared to department stores!)
but you need to use a little concealer WITH the true match foundation for the best look-_-

I use this whenever I leave the house. I love that it matches my skin exactly, but it's the only foundation I've ever used that breaks me out! I'm really getting fed up with it. I don't really even usually have sensitive skin, but this stuff have caused SO many pimples! It also becomes oily-looking after a while.

I usually use it before school, and it looks pretty good then, especially when I set it with some sort of powder. Near midday though, my tzone gets EXTREMELY oily and it slides off.

It covers my skin a little bit but when I look in the mirror in the middle of the day, it looks like it has worn off. I do like it but I'm sure I could find better. Also I don't think it is worth the price. There are better products out there that you can buy for that amount.

I absolutely love this product. I have oily skin and have what you may call the "orphan" make-up bag. I have to mix concealers with liquid foundation from two different lines to get the perfect tone. I found my perfect tone with this product and love it. my skin produces oil really quick and true match stays on my skin and not everywhere else. definately found a line that i can stick to completely.

The match of this product is pretty good for the fair skinned. I have very light, cool skin and the color looks really natural...that is, until I step out in the sun. I tend to be a little oily just on my chin, but mid-day with this make-up, I am slimy-oily on my chin and sides of my nose. It is gross! It slides right off with your finger!

I'm an esthetician..i wouldnt recommend this to any of my clients that want foundation applied on their face. It's too messy. Not a good product for oily skin..maybe for combination skin that is not sensitive.

I used to use Prescriptives till I found L'Oreal True Match. The color matches beautifully, and although I get acne at the drop of a hat, I don't get it from this stuff.

I agree with some of the other reviewers that it accentuates dryness. I always put it on soon after my moisturizer or sunscreen and don't have problems. And it lasts really well.

I really love this makeup. A little goes a long way. So, one bottle will last for a while. I also liked the coverage. I don't have many blemishes, but my skintone is uneven. This makeup makes me look flawless. There are a lot of shades to choose from, and I was a bit confused about which to try. I went on to the Loreal website, and it was a BIG help. It asks you a couple of questions about whether or not you wear foundation or powder. It then asks if you like the shade of your current foundation. If you DO then you can enter what brand/color of foundation you're currently wearing, and it'll tell you exactly what color you'd wear in the TRUE MATCH. It tells you what color foundation, powder, blush, and concealer to buy. If you DON'T like or know what shade to purchase you can just type in your skin color and undertone. [...].

This is a very good product. I have used it exclusivley for about 2 years and it is better than and comparable to high end foundations, particularly Prescriptives. However, foundation and powder is just that - foundation and powder. (Unless it is really cheap and orange colored - this kind should never be purchased under any circumstances) Most make-up can be used successfully with the following tips: 1. Avoid it is it is orange - no one is an orange color! 2. Know your undertone color - are you pink, yellow, or blue? If you know this, you will be able to pick a color that matches your skin much better. 3. Know your skin type and moisturize appropriatley - any and all foundation goes on better with moisturizer to help it blend. The trick is getting one that suits your skin type, and applying it in the areas that you need it. Oily skin - use a light oil free foundation. Dry skin - use a moisturizing lotion. Combo skin - use a normal lotion and avoid your t-zone, appying it to your dry areas only. Normal skin can use a regular lotion. Be sure to use lotions specifically formulated for your face! 4. At the risk of sounding trite - less is more! If you are under 50 with good/really nice skin, I would only use foundation/concealer in the areas that you need it and follow with a nice powder to cover everything. If you are 20 and under you may only need a quick sweep of powder or nothing at all. 5. Good skin care is an absolute must! If you have bad skin, nothing will help...build better skin upon a foundation of a great cleansing regimen and then begin to use cosmetics to perfect your look: A. Gentle-soap free cleanser for dry to normal skin. B. Exfoliant with salytic acid for normal to oily and combo. C. Gentle toner for all skin - may need to dilute with water for sensitive skin or use diluted witch hazel. D. Good moisturizer. (I learned the above after much trial and error, and now my skin is in better shape than when I was a very young woman - and all I wear is a little foundation or concealer and powder all over to finish to finish. The secret to looking great and dewy faced everyday is great skin care and make-up in small doses! FYI - Price means nothing - LOreal is proof of that - I used very expensive make-up for years, only to learn that not taking care of my skin was the issue, not the make-up - your skin care regimen has EVERYTHING to do with how great you look) Happy hunting everyone.

I have tried many different products, and this is certainly one I was least satisfied with. It's not worth the money. It sticks to skin too much, making it feel heavy, dry, and caked. Also, it is very difficult to find the right shade, in my opinion, since the product is so heavy. It was very hard to blend, since it dries out so fast, and it leaves lines, making it noticeable.

I must say it worked pretty well. It makes your skin smooth, but at the same time, everyone i talked to seemed to notice that i had a coverage on so that must mean it isn't very natural looking. Also, my forehead can be somewhat dry so it really shows that i used something if you have dry skin. I recommend using moisterizer before applying this product. Now besides its downfalls, this product is very good for everyday kind of stuff, its pretty light, and its not half bad. All i can say is to make sure your really take your time deciding which shade is best for you to make sure it looks natural, use moisturizer, and rub it into your skin very well. Overall, its an alright product that gets the job fairly done. I would recommend Almay Clear Complexion though. Have a good one [...]! :)

I just love this product! I'm an African American and it is really hard finding a makeup that matches perfectly. I like that I can control the coverage (a little goes a long way) and it is sooo blendable. I've been a fan since the product launched and I always get compliments on how flawless my skin looks.

compared to alot of other foundations ive tired its not half bad. It didnt give my skin an orange tint like other foundations tend to do. However if you have dry skin it makes it very noticeable. overall i really like this make up!!

Best liquid Make Up Out there. I have yellow tones in my skin and this is the only thing that comes remotely close to matching my natural color.

Pros
Matches Skin in most light.
Won't make you break out (especially if you use Panoxyl Soap to wash it off at night).

Cons
Matches Skin in MOST light.
Rubs off a little too easily (but what liquid make-up doesn't).

I bought several shades ... tried about 4 total. None of them worked which was discouraging considering I don't think my skin tone is very uncommon. Showed make-up lines around neck and made skin appear very dried out. I spent a lot of money on foundation that I had to just throw out. I heard good things and really expected better results than I got.

I like that 2-3 shades can be mixed to get the perfect color for my skin at any time of year. It is as good and costs much less than the department store brand I had been using. This is my second purchase of this product.

I LOVE THIS STUFF..it blends very well and looks natural. It doesn't make you look like you have a ton of makeup on but it still makes you look great. It's the only foundation that I have been able to use that matched my skin well and it has never irritated my skin.
