I've never used a better foundation. It formed perfectly to my skin tone, which meant I didn't have to worry about covering up any makeup lines. It leaves a nice finish, and lasts all day.

I'll never go back to my old foundation.

This foundation is a fake. It doesn't match to your skin, instead it is activated when you rub with ur fingers. I am very fair and thought it sounded good on commercials, so I got it even after reading the reviews on here. Its half the price i pay for foundation frrom prescriptives so it was worth a shot. Don't waste ur money, it doesn't deliver what it promises. My skin and fingers are orange, and it doesn't blend as well as i expected.

This stuff is pretty cool. I am a performer, and use this. Its not bad, but doesn't last as long as I like, and even thoug its says wont clog pores and for sensitive skin, my sister used it and it made her brake out.

I'm young so I dont want something heavy just something to give my skin a boost . This was just what I was looking for It blends in perfectly and you can't feel it . It also gives your face a pretty glow . It dosent cover zits try a cover stick for that . But overall I really like it .

I don't understand why this product is getting so many bad reviews. I am not big on make-up and that is especially why I love this product. I don't feel like a clown with a whole bunch of paste on my face and it really blends in well with my skin tones.

I am about to buy another one now even though my last one has not finished as yet, just to make sure I have it when I need it. :)

My ONLY downfall with this product is the price, I wish it were a bit cheaper... it is only 1 ounce.

This product goes on well and covers well but it was cakey. The thing that irratated me the most about it was that it made my skin breakout after using it for 2 days. im still looking for a foundation that wont make my skin breakout.

I myself usually wear Bobbi Brown and Lancome Teint Idol foundation, and i have been trying to find a store product worthy to do the job. If you want a natural coverage that lasts all day try Bobbi Brown's Luminous Moisturizing foundation for dry skin and oil free for oily skin. If you want a literally flawless look without it looking caky, try Lancome Teint Idol. Sure these products are more expensive, but think about it, if its going on your face you want it to be a great product.

I got this from my aunt...and i tried it..it didnt cover anything. It made my skin look really dry. It was supy and gross looking. It didnt adjust to my skin color. It did nothing for me so i ended up just throwing it into the trash.

I usually have a hard time finding a foundation. When I stumbled onto the Almay Smart Shade, I fell in love. I have oily skin and I no matter what foundation I use, I still end up at the end of the day with a shine to my face. So far with Almay Smart Shade, I do not have that shiny look. I have been using this for almost a year and absolutely love it.

I love this product!!!!I don't know what I would do without it.It matches my skin tone perfect.I just wanted too say make sure you rub it in so you can't see no more white.I get the light to medium. I have been using it ever since it came out.It takes the guess work on which foundation you should get.All the girls know that you can't put foundation on in the store too try it out.I don't know why other people would say it has no coverage.Just remember that foundation is too protect your skin from the elements sun,pollution,not to cover our zits and stuff like that.I can't wait until I can get the new Almay powder foundation [...].Just thought you would appreciate someone's opition would has been using this product for a long while.I now have my 17 girl hooked on it.She used too cake on the foundation.I got her out of that habit using this product.I also love the eyeshadows for brown eyes again no guess work what women can't love this make up.I also use the eyeliner for brown eyes.I love Almay products.... darla kellerman age-36

I was surpised to see some of the negative comments because I really feel like this is an incredible product. I feel as if "I have tried them all" LOL! I did not notice any of the cons some people stated...maybe they just weren't rubbing it in all the way! Definitely no lines or orange issues here!

I was using Almay Nearly Naked Makeup Flawless and Weightless in Buff for a few months and decided to try the new Smart Shade makeup. Well I put it on and I noticed that it did not blend together well on my jaw area. Also it looked like there was white lining my lips. My mother told me so too. It did not go to the shade of my fair light colored skin...and I put on the lightest smart shade. I was disappointed and I went back to wearing Almay Nearly Naked liquid foundation because that kind makes it look like I do not have makeup on.

It does not work at all i've tried it and it does not cover nothin at all.When you put it on it looks like cream and and it stays like that, it doesnt look like makeup at all.

It is like a tinted moisturizer, i did not have any coverage, actually i can say tinted moisturizer has more coverage, it was though very light and felt like i was wearing nothing at all.

it made my skin kook orange and kind of cakey. ive only used it a couple timed and not used to put foundation on with my fingers. It does really change into your skins color but taked a little time. there is not enough product for the money. it also had really light coverage and i have clear skin. i had to put extra on in some places. i would recommend it to someone with perfect skin just looking for a everyday light natural look

I liked the texture, it is lightweight, but the lightest shade was too dark for my fair skin.

This is the best makeup I have found in years. I read the other reviews and totally disagree. I have medium colored skin, I never saw any orangy coloring. From the first time I used it, I loved it.

This did not blend easily and made my skin look orange. As previously stated, it provided very little coverage for blemishes which is why I use foundation to begin with. Not worth it's price.

I hate buying and wearing foundation: I always buy the wrong shade, it doesn't blend well, it looks too heavy after a few hours on my combination oily skin... This makeup solves ALL of those problems! It matches / blends perfectly, it's lightweight - I can hardly tell I have it on! This will be a staple in my makeup bag from now on! I can't think of any cons... It's a very sheer coverage. If you're looking for something heavy, look elsewhere.

This stuff is amazing. I'm allergic to pretty much everything, but not this. My skin texture seems better after using it. It's not oily at all, not does it irritate my dry spots (I have combination skin). It doesn't not give me acne. I have received many compliments. It's absolutely invisible.

For those who are trying it for the first time, be warned that it may look a little odd the first time (it was orangey yellow on me). For whatever reason, after the 2nd time it perfectly blends. I have very pale skin and usually cannot find any make-up that is pale enough that doesn't make me look at all pastey. It adds warmth to my skin, but is seamless.

Also, it evens out colour perfectly, but doesn't not COVER UP par se. It evens your skin tone and makes you look younger. Use cover sticks (Almay also) for the spots and dark circles.

I wasnt surprised that this didnt work. I have to agree with the person who first wrote a review, it did give me an orange look also, and made my skin darker. I will admit, it blended easily, but it didnt cover any problem areas on my face (which other foundations such as Maybellines pure foundation or L'oreals True match foundation do cover.) I suppose this would be good for people with dark skin, not with light. [...]

I'll start off by saying that I am very fair-skinned. Because of this, I have a hard time finding foundation that is light enough for me. This product claims to "transform into a shade that complements your skintone", but it came out looking slightly orangy, which does NOT complement my skintone. It also doesn't do much to even out skin tone. I could very clearly see the little capillaries around my nose and my freckles. Those are the main reasons that I bother to wear foundation. This might work well on someone with darker skin, but I would not recommend it to anyone with fair skin.

it's awesome once you get the hang of it, which usually comes after 2-3 uses. The color did look darker than my skin tone, but when blended it looked right. the finish was also a lot lighter/sheerer than i expected, but if you're looking for a tinted moisturizer-type effect, this is it!
