OMG i love HIP. i have
2 cream liners(in eggplant & black)
1 eyeshadow(flamboyant)
paint(secretive)
and a jelly balm(plush)

i just got these a few days ago and i fell in love!! im deffiantly gettting some more eyeshadows. they are amazing! ohh and the yellow and purple does look good together! the people that said the didnt must not kno how to use them right! cuz they look amazing together. i love hip :D

flamboyant is my fave b/c of the gold
the colors really 'pop' and thats hard to find being a women of color
the only problem i have is tht they need to start making more colors

I have Flamboyant and Showy and i love them both! I noticed some people mentioned the purple and gold not going together but i disagree! purple and gold are great together! this eyeshadow paired with my favorite green shirt are perfect for mardi gras! i love love love love this product and would encourage anyone and everyone to buy it!

If you're on a budget and don't feel like splurging on the eye shadows at the department store then Hip is the right brand for you. Loreal Hip is the cheaper vision of MAC because their eyeshadows are high pigmented. I have oily skin and if I don't apply the shadow base before applying the eyeshadow colors then after a few hours it creases and fades. I just wish Hip would have more colors!

A lot of eyeshadows don't really show up on my eyes... but I always wanted a kind of dramatic look. I saw HIP and i just had to have it. I bought this in Flare, just to try it out... and the color showed up!!! The colors look really cool used together or seperately.
I can't wait to buy another one!

I really love it and I use it all the time. I bought Flamboyant. I know there is some mention of the colors of Flamboyant (purple & gold) not going together, and that's true. They don't look that great together. But, seperately either with other colors or not, they're beautiful. Touch ups are also made pretty easy because of the little mirror in the case. Definitely worth the money. It really exceeded my expectations.

I bought flamboyant, i loveee the product. But, i do find it a little expensive. I wish the price would go down a little bit, but it is a high quality item and it's worth the money. Oh & i have very sensitive eyes and it doesn't affect them at all!

These HIP shadows are amazing! I have now bought 8 different ones and I absolutely love them! They are the eye shadows at the drug store by far and if you are a fan of high end makeup that you purchase at the mall then forget about them and buy this! It lasts long, blends easy and makes your eyes pop! This is definately a product worth buying and the fact that these little eye shadows have a great little mirror in the case it is absolutely wonderful! GET THESE!

Basically, if you*re a fan of high end makeup, this drug store alternative is a great way to save some dough and still look fabulous. The colors are bold, blend well, and really make eyes pop. Used seperately or together, the colors allow you to play with different styles/looks.
They can most definately be used together[I mention this because a reviewer mentioned that 'Flamboyant', a gold and purple duo, doesn't go together]. Each duo can really be utilized simultaneously for a bold look. Even fans of pricier make up can agree that the HiP products are quite amazing.

I really enjoy these eyeshadows, and although the colors are bold and bright, I wouldn't neccesarily use some of them together, despite the fact that they come in the same duo. For instance, the duo "Flamboyant" has a great gold color that looks great on blue eyes, yet comes with a dark purple that is cool for lining, just not in conjunction with the yellow. I love how in the bottom of the duo there is a built in mirror. It comes with applicators, but little foam applicators are kind of "why bother?" when there are cheap brushes that work much better (Maybelline makes great brushes for cheap).
Although it says in the instructions "for use wet or dry," don't use it wet... the color tends to clump into your crease, and (I don't know if it's just me) but it burns slightly when used wet. I think it's practically a no-no for those with sensitive eyes.
Other than that, the colors are lots of fun!
