I was very excited to buy this.

At first it was pretty complicated because I needed to get used to the brush and the pot... but i got used to it.
The brush isn't too bad, although it is stiff, it's not bad. i like stiff brushes because i can control it better.

I bought the black one and the brown one- black was WONDERFUL brown was ugly.

I like lining my waterline or the bottom rims, but there, it smudges like crazy!!!! I think its good for the top eyelids but not for the bottom.

I've heard so many great things about this product and I herad it was better then the leading cream liner and so I though I'd give it a try today,& I love it I bouhgt black and I want eggplany and mindnight blue I love how smooth it goes on and it's really creamy and you only need alittle bit you line your whole eye will be buying again fer sure!

I use alot of heavy liner (I have an alternative dress/makeup style to put it in a nut shell) and unlike other liners, this will never smudge, rub off, smear off, anything. it stays put, and the applicator is great!

i absolutely LOVE this product. i just bought it to try it out..but i ended up falling in love. it doesnt smudge at ALLL! it stays on all day..i got mine in eggplant(purple) and its fabulous. i love it and im deff. gonna get all the rest of the colors. :D

I wanted this for so long, because of all the things I heard about it, but I never expected it to be so good! First of all, I got the black one..and it is BLAAACK!..and it sooo creamy. Its quite expensive for me , but its well worth it. A little goes a looooong way, and it will last you a while. It doesn't smugde easily. It's a little hard to remove, but that's a good thing. I use olive oil or cream and it comes right off. My sister and mom are going to buy some today, and I can't wait to get the other colors.

This eyeliner is without a doubt the best I have ever used--better than any other cream, pencil, or powder liner I have tried. I love L'Oreal HIP because of the wide array of beautiful colors they offer and the versatility of their products. You can go natural and simple as well as bold and wonderfully flashy. The same holds true for this terrific cream eyeliner. They offer the classic shades of brown and black as well as the more edgy colors like teal, blue, and purple. Application is a breeze. The eyeliner goes on smooth without any uncomfortable tugging or pulling. And my most annoying eyeliner problem has finally been resolved: no more running or fading! It lasts all day and the color just does not fade. The colors look just as great at midnight as when you put it on at noon. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

I have been searching for the last 20 years, everything that was supposed to stay and not run down or melt down my face did. I have spent hundred of dollars on worthless eyeliners, from $3-$28. I have Asian eyes for obvious reasons...my pencils (even kohl pencil) and creme liners would melt down my cheek. Liquid liners would dry, crack and melt. This is the BEST EYELINER EVER!!! Easy to use, hard to take off, but worth it. I NEVER HAVE TO ADJUST MY EYELINER ALL DAY!!!! Their EYE CREME SHADOWS ARE PHENOMENAL TOO!!!!! They won't "rain" out. You don't even need to use a lot for your desired effect, the colors are SO INTENSE!! [...]THANK YOU WALGREENS!!! WOULD HAVE NEVER TRIED THIS IF IT HADN'T BEEN FOR YOU!

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! I came on here to read the reviews before I went and bought it today. What made me want to go buy it is how people said the black is really BLACK! Oh my god, it's seriously the BEST BLACK I've ever used! YES, it's a little hard to remove but that's a GOOD thing considering it stays put and doesn't smudge! The brush is simply amazing, yes it's a little on the hard side...but seriously, how else do you expect to use a brush to apply cream eyeliner without smudging unless the brush is good enough to create straight lines?! Awesome product! :-)

The brush is way too stiff!!! Scratchy and just terrible to use. I can see the potential of this product if I had a really good professional liner brush to use with it.
So, I have not seen the true essence of this product until I have had the chance to use it with one. But from what I can tell, I think the color has won me over. I have the black and it reminds me of what the Egyptians probably would have used.
Just when you thought black couldn't get better, it does.

I use the brush applicator and apply along the upper lash line before adding any shadows or accents. If I blink before the liner is dry, however, it smudges my upper lid and is difficult to get off without having to completely start over.

I have L'Oreal HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliners in Midnight Blue, Teal & Eggplant. Each color is beautiful & vivid, but not garish. The staying power of this eyeliner is unsurpassed. The heat/humidity of San Antonio & the oiliness of my skin do not affect the color or the way this eyeliner wears -- even after a really sweaty & strenuous work-out. This product is AMAZING. I hope they come out with more colors!!!!

The downside is the professional brush that accompanies the eyeliner. It is very stiff & picks up too much product. I would recommend investing in a real professional eyeliner brush.
