I have tried EVERYTHING on my son's skin from Aquafor to shea butter to olive oil to cetaphil... the list goes on. While this product has not completed soothed my 9-month old's skin it is the only product that has come even close to helping to moisturize it. It is a little pricey, but lasts pretty long and is well worth it. We try other creams every so often to see if our son's skin reacts better than before, but this is the only thing that works short of the steroid-laden prescription stuff.

Hope this helps.

Gentle Naturals is IT! When I found out my newborn baby had eczema I was devastated. Luckily my midwive recommended Gentle Naturals Eczema Cream and guess what ... IT WORKS! I love it! Yes, it is a little greasy and in a very severe case of eczema where you have to put it on numerous times a day probably a little pricey. But it is well worth it! Just compare it to all the other expensive products out there that do not help. My son is now 5 months old and he looks like a little porcelain doll - his skin is so smooth and pretty. Not a red or dry spot on his face or body. I highly recommend this product (just like the Cradle Cap Treatment), though I do understand that it is not a "miracle product". Everybodys skin is different and it might not work for everybody.

suffered from irritated, flaky dry skin under left eye for approx. 6 months. would make tiniest amount of concealer appear cakey. after reading reviews decided to try baby eczema cream and worked WONDERS overnight! applied minuscule amount, since product is slightly greasy, right before bedtime and irritation/flakiness was gone by morning. needless to say I'm very happy with the results.

My son is 6 months old and has eczema. This lotion stays on him for so long and helps heal his skin. He doesn't scratch after I've put it on him. It takes away the redness and keeps him well moisturized. It is a little greasy, but it's worth it to me.

We tried so many other products and were recommended to use a steroid cream, which we we did not want to use. My husband picked up this cream at Rite Aid just to give it a try. It worked instantly. My baby's face was so red and bumpy before and now it's completely clear after two days. Amazing!!!

I tried everything for my 9 year old daughter who breaks at sometimes. I never heard of it before and saw it sitting out of place in a [...] at the checkout. Wasn't sure is I should buy it but I did and I notice the different the next day. I love it and she likes the way it smells not to strong.

This is not the miracle cream I expected after reading other reviews. It did not help my baby's eczema any better than the other (many) products I tried and I had to resort to prescribed medications to clear her skin.

This stuff is amazing. My baby got eczema and I tried so many different things that didn't work. Once I put the baby eczema cream on him, it cleared right up! I also soothes the irritation and itch. Even thought my baby ( now 5 months,) no longer has eczema, I still use it for dry skin due to excessive drooling, dry weather, etc... Def, def, recommend over any other cream for baby's skin.

I am an adult with very dry skin and excema. After using NUMEROUS over the counter AND perscription medicinces for my skin condition, I gave this product a try on a whim. EXCELLENT! It worked almost immediately, and is the ONLY product I have found that works so consistently and effectively, including the medicated creams I've been prescribed. It is gentle enough for my sensitive allergy prone skin, yet strong enough to combat my stubborn dryness and excema. I can't get enough of this creme, and can only imagine that it works wonders for babies too!
It's a godsend!!!

I never write reviews, but after spending a lot of money on a bunch of different lotions and even one I ordered from Australia, I had to give this product a positive write up. My son had a very red irritated face and after the first day of using this product, his face is all cleared up. We'll definitely keep buying and using this product.

Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:

I have been using this since my first son was born almost 3 years ago. He suffers from incredibly dry skin and it would only get worse in the winter. I put this on him every night before bed and every morning before we go outside and it has worked miracles. His face does not even get wind burned anymore. Once our 2nd son was born-with dry skin as well-I used this on him from the day I brought him home and again it worked after just once or twice. My only complaint it that I cannot always find the scented kind and I think the nice scent calms my boys down.

I recommend this cream to any parent, whose child has a bad case of dry skin, or eczema. I have 6 year and 2 year old boys. I have used this cream religiously since my 6 year old was born. They both had exzema as infants, enough to bleed. Put it on right after they dry off, after a bath. It will work miracles. PERFECT for your children

Our 19 month old son has had eczema since shortly after birth. We've tried lotions, prescriptions, everything we could find, and nothing helped very much. Then we tried Gentle Naturals. It hasn't completely cleared it up, but it has made it so much better. As long as we are consistant in putting it on him morning and night, his eczema almost goes away. My only complaint would be that it is a little greasy, but it absorbs well. This is a great cream. If your child has eczema, definately give it a try. It's worth the money.

I personally use this product for my skin. I get dry patchs on my face and look really bad. When I use this I notice the patchs disapper seemingly over night. I cant use lotion because it breaks my face out and because I dont have "ezczema" the doctor wont prescribe me anything. This stuff works, my skin looks good and I couldn't be happier.

My daughter had bad eczema and after trying multiple
creams and lotions (including aquaphor) I figured this might work. It didn't. I noticed no improvement no matter how many times I put it on my daughter. It might work for some but it is not the cure all that I read it was.

My 13 month old has eczema. Her little legs, elbows and cheeks always stayed red and dry. I tried everything from Vaseline, Aveeno and a precription cream. I was shopping [...] and saw Gentle Naturals, it caught my eye because of it being labeled "eczema cream". I bought the cream and the wash to try it out, and it is the only product I have tried that works. Her skin looks so much better! The wash smells really good, I just wish the cream smelled like it. Regardless of it being unscented, it is great!!

My son has eczema, and this cream is the best cream we found to apply after his baths, and if needed during the day. It smells so good, and goes on easily. We just love to grease him up. It absorbs well, and we have not had any major eczema breakouts. The only complaint I have is that they changed the scent and now it is fragrance free. I just loved the original scent.

I just came here to visit from the U.K. My 15 month old daughter has eczema. Out of all the products I've used there this actually seems to be working. In fact I would like to get the bath for her to see if it helps her even further. I would say if your child has eczema give it a try.

I use this on both of my boys for their extremely dry skin. My son (2) loves to be "greased up" after a bath. It also calms our 5 month old down. They both seem to sleep much better after I use this. It is the best baby product I have bought-other than diapers and wipes.

Great for eczema relief & MORE!
By T-FloB from Perrysburg, Oh on 1/4/2007
Best Uses:
Infants, Mothers

I have used this not only for some patches of dry skin on my son AND myself, but also on my son's bum for when he had diaper rash. It worked great as mosturizer before I put on the diaper rash cream. I think that it really helped to clear it up overnight. I think this is such a great product that I give a tube out at every baby shower that I go to. I gave some to my sister in law (for my nephew) who had really bad eczema and it was the only over-the-counter product (of the dozens) that she tried that seemed to offer any relief to him. This also works great on really dry hands and cracked heels! AWESOME STUFF!

This really works, and smells good!
By Happy Mom from Bloomington Minnesota on 12/28/2006
Pros:
Convenient Use, Portable, Sturdy Construction
Best Uses:
Infants, Toddlers

My son has dry, patchy, itchy skin, and Ive tried every product and would just seem to make his skin worse. Living in Minnesota the cold weather makes it worse. This product helped his skin, and I could see a difference in just 24 hours, the skin is less red, less bumpy, and I can tell his skin doesn't bother him as much. The nice thing about this product, is that it is cost effective, and really works well, while still smelling good. I didn't have to settle for an expensive over priced stinky lotion. I love this lotion!
