How to place your order

1. Review the items and quantities in your Shopping Cart to make sure your order is correct.
2. Select CHECKOUT to proceed. When applicable, you will be asked to provide a:
   • shipping address
   • pickup location and time
   • prescriber information (contact lenses only)
   • shipping method
   • payment method
3. When the final Order Summary appears, you can still remove items from your cart, edit your information or cancel your order. However, once you select SUBMIT, non-pharmacy orders cannot be cancelled due to automated order processing. Learn more about returning a store order you would like canceled.

In-store pickup

You can choose to pick up pharmacy and Photo Center orders at almost any Walgreens store. In-store pickup is not available for contact lens orders. If you place an online order at your Walgreens store, you can choose to pick up your order at the store.

Pharmacy orders: During the checkout process, you will be asked How You Would Like to Receive Your Pharmacy Order. Select the pickup location, then choose the date and time for pickup. Select CONTINUE to proceed with your prescription order.

A scheduled pickup time of more than 2 hours in advance is recommended. Additional time might be needed if the pharmacist needs to contact your physician or transferring pharmacy.

Photo Center orders: Prints and photo cards can be picked up at your local store, however, photo gifts must be shipped. For more information on selecting the in-store pickup option for Photo Center orders, please refer to Photo Center Help.

Accepted payment options

You are shipping both your store order and your prescription order	Pay online.
You are shipping your store order and picking up your prescriptions at your neighborhood Walgreens	Pay for your store order on the web site and pay for your prescriptions at the store.

For orders shipped to you, Walgreens.com accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards as well as Bill Me Later® and PayPal for payment. We are currently unable to accept gift cards for payment of online orders.

All Walgreens stores accept cash, check, gift card, debit card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Promotional coupon codes and credits

To redeem a coupon code for a special offer or discount, it must be entered at the time of checkout. Enter the coupon code in the box located at the bottom of your Shopping Cart page before you select CHECKOUT.

The discounted item price will be displayed at checkout and in your Order Summary below Promotions applied to your order.

From time to time, you may receive a credit to your Photo Center account. If you do, we will automatically place it in your Photo Cart for you.

Insurance

Walgreens is a provider for many insurance plans, including several Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs). Our network of health plans is extensive, and we are constantly adding more plans.

Please provide us with all prescription plan information. If for some reason we are unable to verify your coverage or unable to bill your insurance, we will contact you by email or phone. If you have chosen to have your prescription shipped to you, your credit card will not be charged until your order is shipped.

If your insurance company does not cover your prescription, or if we do not participate in your plan at this time, you always have the option of paying the full price of the prescription. You will be provided with a detailed receipt, including prescription information that you can forward to your insurance company for reimbursement.
